Lillian
Believe me, German parents would know what that tshirt meant, or would at least know what "fuck" means and could work it out from there.

StrictlyKatty · 22/03/2010 09:27

ewwwww that's disgusting!

OtterInaSkoda · 22/03/2010 09:40

Out of interest, where are people seeing these clothes? I don't think I live in a particularly moral town, but I swear I've never seen an underage child wearing a sexually suggestive slogan. Having said that I am quite short sighted - perhaps i'm misreading them all...

mamas12 · 22/03/2010 11:44

Madmaths
I'm with you
Why do they make them FOR children it shouldn't be allowed.

QueenThistle · 22/03/2010 12:11

Whatever you do, you must not click on this link

Casserole · 22/03/2010 12:21

See, the grown up ones make me smile.

But putting them on babies and children?

Nope. All kinds of wrong no matter which way you package it.

TakeLovingChances · 22/03/2010 12:33

About 10 years ago I saw a teenage 'emo', he must have been around 17. His t-shirt said "Go hang yourself" on the front and the back had a drawing of a noose.

I thought that was in really bad taste, especially as I'd recently lost a close friend to suicide

mrsmharket · 22/03/2010 12:37

it's all horrible makes you wonder what kind of person designs them

Someone on another forum I frequent posted a picture of her little girl (about 1 at the time, I think) in the 'all daddy wanted was a blowjob' t-shirt, and because she was a popular member (read: prolific poster), everyone thought it was just hilarious.

How completely and utterly grossed out and embarrassed will that child be when she's older enough to understand and sees the picture of herself in the t-shirt?

We all know our parents only ever did it the same number of times as there are of us and our siblings. To have irrefutable evidence to the contrary via the medium of an incredibly tacky and tasteless t-shirt is just plain mean.

MamaLazarou · 22/03/2010 13:29

YANBU, it's pretty disgusting.

But then I used to wear all sorts of inappropriate clothing at age 12 so can't really talk.

OrmRenewed · 22/03/2010 13:32

Yuck!

pumperspumpkin · 22/03/2010 13:38

The baby one is foul.

OP - YANBU.

MamaLazarou · 22/03/2010 13:40

(I like the one from QueenThistle's link - 'THEY SHAKE ME!')

CaveMum · 22/03/2010 18:12

QueenThistle loving some of those T-shirts on your link.

Though not for small people obviously.

Personal fav: "Go local sports team and/or college"

pinkycheesy · 22/03/2010 21:58

when I was 14 I bought one of those trendy Frankie tshirts....but it said
FRANKIE SAYS F**K OFF
My parents went mental, mum went to the shop to tell the owner off for selling it to a child, I could have died with embarassment!

Now, I totally understand how they felt

hogshead · 22/03/2010 23:36

I remember when i was a teenager there was a well known t-shirt with a picture of a bar and the slogan `Liquor in the front, poker in the rear'

I sooooo wanted one but soooooo wasnt allowed!

And to think my MIL tutted recently at DS's t shirt that says `Daddy knows alot but Mummy knows EVERYTHING'

mummiedearest · 23/03/2010 02:07

Truly disgusting. Speaks volumes. some people really shouldnt have children

tallulahbelly · 23/03/2010 12:22

Saw a boy in Ibiza with a towel promoting the club night F* Me, I'm Famous.

Their asterisks, btw, which I feel is a thoughtful touch whenever I see their billboards

His parents were those self-consciously cool thirtysomething hipsters who are just as vile as the louts who infest San Antonio but sadly not as easy to avoid.

TheLadyEvenstar · 23/03/2010 15:22

DS1 has a t shirt which says

"I'm not perfect"
but so close it hurts

CheerfulYank · 23/03/2010 15:35

The baby ones are clearly in bad taste, but I think the ones for 10 yr olds (you know, little girls, are even worse). This sexualization of young girls makes me want to vomit. Literally, I have to supresst the gag reflex as I am at work.

BranflakeGirl · 23/03/2010 20:09

YANBU...all those shirts are vile, especially the OP and that one on the baby but let's face it, the whole world is going to hell Fed-Ex and most people don't give a damn.

Walked past a primary school the other day and heard one child yell to another "Get your fing a over here you n c**!". And my neighbours girlfriend dresses her 3 year old in stilleto's and mini skirts...it's almost as grotesque as the way Jordan did her child up like a baby whore!

I'm afraid to say that I do blame the parents and think they are seriously lacking in any morals or self respect!
