MilkNoSugarPlease · 13/03/2010 13:05

I adore starbucks
I adore peanut butter, although never tried ASDA
I'm 100% sure DH wont cheat...as I dont have one...Am QUITE sure OH wont cheat

UnquietDad · 13/03/2010 13:08

Why do people like Starbucks? Not having a go, just genuinely interested.

Surely if you like coffee there are much better places, similarly priced, that do nicer coffee. Their coffee is OK, but always seems weak to me and doesn't taste of much. Even the coffee I have had from those little booths/counters at railways stations has been better. I've only ever had the Filter so maybe I am missing out.

SirBoobAlot · 13/03/2010 13:10

I like Starbucks but prefer Costa
Cheap peanut butter tastes nicest - but cashew butter is better!
I am 100% sure DP wouldn't cheat on me
Netmums makes no sense to me
I do not own anything from Boden or The White Company.

nighbynight · 13/03/2010 13:10

I went to starbucks once, and it cost an arm and a leg, and was so crowded we couldnt sit down.

Mumcentreplus · 13/03/2010 13:24

I've been to Starbucks once the coffee was vile and so was their 'shortbread' biscuit.
I like peanut butter (alot) never tried Asda's
Never been to Netmums/Bounty
Like some Boden Kids...only on sale mind you ..bit over priced..
have no opinion on TWC...but I quite like the GLTC
Can you trust anyone 100%?..not even yourself ..

Ivykaty44 · 13/03/2010 13:24

starbucks flavoured water is a little to weak to actually taste the coffee - yes I have been and dont go now, costa is a little more like coffee but not good and my home towns have really nice independant coffee places far better than costa, nero and starbucks - so I am lucky in where I live

I love peanut butter and soemtimes shop in asda - so will have been in our cuboards

I have never shopped at boden or white or toast - but have at ellie gray as i love there £5 sales

Ivykaty44 · 13/03/2010 13:26

oh and I am single so no need to worry about my dh as someone else can worry about his indescretions now

LoveTheCarbs · 13/03/2010 13:27

I occasionally go to starbucks, I have nothing against them
I hate all forms/makes of peanut butter
I am 100% sure dh won't cheat on me
I have never been to netmums or bounty and
I have never bought anything from Boden and had never heard of them till I came onto Mumsnet.

3/5..

Adding my own:
I have never been to or ordered from KFC.
The last time I went to MacDonalds was about 12 years ago.

EggyAllenPoe · 13/03/2010 13:34

i haven't been to Starbucks for ages, but used to go as there was one in Brighton Borders - I could read books over a drink without buying them, so effectively a £3 book rental charge with a free chai latte thrown in.
I am mostly sure Dh wouldn't cheat, but am far too sceptical to believe anything 100%
Peanut butter is ok, but i haven't bought it for myself
I haven't tried netmums or bounty though i have been on babycentre, babygreenhouse and the Times blog Alphamummy.
I have one item of Boden, from ebay.

I am still odd, and challenge anyone who has has met me to disagree.

CarrieJF · 13/03/2010 13:42

I've once been to Starbucks but didn't like their coffee so never went back.
I've never had ASDA peanut butter - Whole Earth Crunchy Peanut Butter for me please.
I am 100% sure DP wouldn't cheat on me because no shag is worth losing his house.
Netmums, what is Netmums
I do not own anything from Boden or The White Company.
I've never ordered anything from KFC (deepfried chicken skin and bones - how ever could I resist?)
McDonalds drive-thru latte is my guilty pleasure

Wanders off to make a peanut butter sandwich

PestoMonster · 13/03/2010 13:46

I take my own flask of (proper) coffee
I like all peanut butter, but especially Lidl's
I'm 100% sure DH won't cheat on me
and
I've never been to NetMums
but
I do like Bounties

YanknCock · 13/03/2010 13:47

I think Starbucks is overrated, only go if no Costa/Nero/independent shop available.

I love peanut butter and eat it for breakfast nearly every day (Whole Earth smooth, watching my sugar intake).

Am fairly certain DH wouldn't cheat, he barely knew I was making a pass at him despite dragging him home and plying him with wine.

I don't do sites with tickers. I was recruited to MN

onestepforward · 13/03/2010 13:49

No preference re coffee as only have the hot chocolate now sometimes frequent Costa but used to go to Starbucks.

Don't like peanuts full stop

Not at all sure DH didn't cheat on me (separated now)

Sometimes forget which is which with netmums and mumsnet so sometimes visit in error!

What was the other one? Boden? Nope can't afford it but would like to be able to! Do have some White Company bed linen which was a wedding present.

Does that make me fit in or stand out??!

CarrieBo · 13/03/2010 13:55

There are people in the world who haven't been to starbucks?

mitochondria · 13/03/2010 13:56

I have been to Starbucks, but only when there is no alternative as the coffee isn't very nice.
I prefer the organic crunchy stuff, I don't like smooth peanut butter.
I am 100% sure dh won't cheat on me.
and I have never been to netmums or bounty - but I spent years posting on babycentre.

I don't own any Boden as don't think any clothes should cost that much money.

I do occasionally go to McDonalds. About once a year.

I have been to Starbucks on many occasions.

I like peanut butter, and have a tub of Asda own brand in the cupboard right now.

I am 100% sure that dh would never cheat on me.

I have been to Netmums but not Bounty.

Blimey - I am common as muck!

notsoteenagemum · 13/03/2010 14:21

I like Starbucks because the coffee is so weak it doesn't trigger my migraines.

I only like peanut butter in the form of Reeces peanut butter cups and I never go to Asda for food.

I am 100% sure dh wouldn't cheat on me and I never phone or text him when he is out with the lads unlike all my female friends.

I looked at Netmums once but got ticker blindness, I haven't heard of Bounty.

I have never bought anything from Waitrose or had an organic veg box delivered.

My children wear Boden.

mitochondria · 13/03/2010 16:23

I have been to Waitrose, and get shopping delivered by Ocado. I go to ASDA more often, but if I could afford not to I wouldn't. It's never an enjoyable experience.

JackBauer · 13/03/2010 16:36

I haven't been to Starbucks (since Borders went bust)
I love asda peanut butter
I am 100% sure dh won't cheat on me
I have been to netmums or bounty BUT I have been banned from ivillage!

MrsC2010 · 13/03/2010 16:52

1: I have been, but not in years. Went to Costa for the first time in ages today though.
2: I like peanut butter, haven't tried Asda's
3: I am 100% sure DH would never cheat on me
4: I had never heard of Netmums or Bounty before joining here, and still haven't been.

gibbberish · 13/03/2010 16:55

I have never been to starbucks
I love all peanut butter inc Asda
I am 100% sure dh won't cheat on me
and I have never been to netmums or bounty

YABU. You are NOT a bit of an oddity. Because that would make me one too. So there.
