She's clearly very underweight. When your thighs are as thin as your calves, that's a problem. That picture is upsetting to look at.

She was so lovely before. She just looks awful now. Yet another skinny person to influence the younger girls.

My 6 year old likes weighing herself - though she has no idea what it means - but I have told her she can't do it every day as I don't want it becoming an issue. My 8 year old who weighs 4 stone has said he was fat. Where do they get this from?

It's absolutely true - nobody can blame men for imposing some patriarchal ideal of how women are supposed to look on these women, and cite this as being the reason they starve themselves, because:

She completely clearly has an eating disorder poor girl. I bet there are people around her telling her she looks 'more stylish' too, sadly for her mental and physical well being.

The jacket is hanging off her, her bony malnourished wrists are poking out and her fragile legs look awful. That is not stylish.

Yes but have you seen the battering men get if they admit they find, e.g. Keira Knightley attractive. Voicing the opinion that a size 14 is not as hot as an 8 in female company ain't worth your life...

But finding Keira Knightley attractive doesn't necessarily mean you like sticks or that any size is "better" than another. I think her face is very pretty.

It's not so much being hardwired to find someone who can nourish a newborn attractive - I don't want Kimberley Walsh to bear me any children, thanks. It's more a case of having something to hang on to. And not feeling like you are poking a pile of broken chairs.

I don't give a flying rat's ass about stylish. Clothes you take off at the end of the day. Health and positive body image are there to the core. She's such a beautiful girl, she looks very underweight indeed.

Who cares if she is more stylish. She's too thin, I've read before she battles with her weight. Hope she gets some decent support to help her get back to a healthy weight.

Presumably she is an adult and is making her own choices about how much she eats. Hopefully she will sack off the dieting some (but not wear the horrible clothes she wore before, ahem)
