cheesy post title i know

but its been a fuggin' awful week, and i want to hear some good stuff for a change.

things that make me happy:

making my kids/husband laugh.

a nice cold glass of wine.

tuna pasta bake. mmm.

an unexpected text.

planning my imaginary trip to Australia.

a good hug.

the simple stuff, you know!

watching my dogs run free on the beach when its a nice day but still cold enough to keep the hoardes away and i can let them off the lead.

reading a book and finding that actually, its quite good when i thought it would be shit

Gin and Tonic done properly with ice and a slice.
My dogs - all three of them.
Doing a painting i'm proud of.
My DSs being 7 and 9, being able to take them anywhere and they are genuinely good company.
High art and culture.
The feeling that spring is aaaaalllmmmooosstt here.

ringing to explain the mortgage company that we will be a week late paying this months mortgage - to be told that we have already paid it at the begening of the month so used we are to paying at the end!

Rockpooling, the seaside in general, especially harbours and little fishing boats (I come from the centre of Britain, love the sea)

When the DS's come into our bed first thing in the morning and snuggle up, kiss me and tell me they love me

Friends and spending time with old friends who know me and who I can be completely comfortable with

- the article in the DM about the transexual kicking up a fuss because she can't get a pension brought a smile - growling at a stream of children while dressed as Hook made me surprisingly happy

Jamie, it is my fave thing to do, luckily my boys love it too and DH has caught the bug.
I could spend a whole day in rockpools
Have made sure that we are near a beach with rockpools when we go on hols this year, can't wait!

Fossicking is an excellent word.

waking up in the morning to see the little smiling face of my gorgeous 8 month old son. he changed my life completely. he makes everything more beautiful, more meaningful!
he makes me a happier person just being in my life!

breastfeeding makes me happy.

loads of sunshine, a little bit of rain and tiny bit of snow.

autumn leaves (the actual leaves, not the song )

my husband

my parents, sister, grandmother & my uncle

taking a good picture every now and then

trains. i could be a train driver

spring,rivers ,the sea,mist, gin,children commimg home from school,baking and cooking,knitting,socilasing,a job well done - whatever it is,going outside my town were no one knows me and having a secret day by myself.oh and the Turkish baths a t harrogate /bettys tearoom - Bliss.thanks for positve post !!XX
