story, Daily Mail unfortunately

obviously she is also very lucky to have the freedom to take her baby into her place of work but I also think good for her for taking advantage of it!

". I think a lot of the anger directed towards me is anger at their own situations.

'What's surprised me is how much some women - most women, it seems - divide their lives into work and family. They almost seem to see work as something to escape from. I have never ever felt like that, and I'd be horrified if any of my girls go on to feel that. "

I couldn't care less, why did she make such a fuss about it all though?

If it works for her, great. I guess it's better than rushing back leaving your baby with a Nanny or in a nursery to keep ahead of the game.

posieparker · 20/02/2010 20:11

To be fair she was on the radio and came across very well...understanding of her unique situation, she feels her 'girls' are family and so why wouldn't she share the joy with them?

St Mary's is a really great school. I have it marked down for possible future DDs (assuming money etc. is not a problem, obviously!).

wastwinsetandpearls · 20/02/2010 20:17

Not that I would send dd there but I was warned against the school by another mumsnetter Brahms. Not sure why.

amazing publicity for school.big marketing coup.regardless of whta one thinks of her decision the school has been extensively name checked

wastwinsetandpearls · 20/02/2010 21:16

I agree it is a publicity ploy.
