ok... Dd is 12 weeks and a real pain with daytime naps, unless she lies on you she wont sleep and even then she has now started only taking 10-20 mins at a time, nightimes are good...

I would really like to get the fisher price smart swing which would last through toddler years but its around £90! Dh would have a fit at this price but all the cheaper swings end by 9 months or dont have music etc so to me it makes sense to get the fisher price one... aibu to get it anyway and tell dh it was half price or something?

I've been looking at ebay etc but none closer than 30-50 miles from me and all say pick up only... Wwyd?

I've only read part of this thread but I have to say YANBU

My DP would happily accept any gizmo for his children that would help me/DC and anything that helps along the way...

...I have to say though, anything you can pre-empt your child needing, you should be looking for on the likes of on things like (shh? "e-bay"!?

well the swing arrived this morning, i've put it together and dd loves it! She sat shouting at the hanging toys and kicking her feet.... No sleep today yet but slowly and surely we'll get there!
