Michael Jackson died on my birthday, kind of spoiling my birthday night out as the restaurant I went to to celebrate had a special tribute night and kept playing sad songs all night. (I have great sympathy for his family, blah blah, but it was my birthday and I hadn't been out for aaaages and Man in the Mirror and Ben on loop doesn't exactly get the party started).

now for the really weird one. I share not only my brithday but also initials with J M Barrie who wrote peter pan. Was relieved to discover was not planned that way.

And I've just remembered, Elvis died on my mum's birthday. Spooky.

I used to share my birthday with the Queen Mum, so they always used to fly the flags on my birthday.

Then when I was about 14, we discovered I was actually born on August 3rd, not the 4th.
Oddly enough, they didn't change the day the flags were flown....
