What's with that? My DDs facebook page today has another pic of her looking like she is sucking on a lemon. It seems to be the standard pose in younsters - what is that all about?

Lol I had this conversation with my daughter the other day. we can only hope one day they will realise how daft they look.

Thats what i cant understand - if they are going for some sort of pout, its blatantly not working - i always think it looks like a cross between being puzzled and snorting

My future-SIL makes duckface pouts in all her photos, or the stupid wide open mouthed one instead.

ROTFL mychildren are barmy - i have just added that to my face book, my DD is going to KILL me!! but i wonder if the whole duckface thing is an american version - most of the ones i see, do that and TWIST!! They look ill, if im honest

I think they do it to ensure their faces look as thin as possible. Getting right up in the camera, focus on eyes and lips takes attention away from potential/possible/actual double chins.

But, yeah, I agree, it does look silly!
