Can I just point out that Nigel was reared by the finest wet nurse this side of Egypt. Tis unsurprising that he is so fair and so advanced...

(Vicarious PFB)

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 12:47

May I ask about Pagboy? I have seen bits in other places but refrained from asking here in case you saw the silliness as a space apart.

Kicks Hullys manservant out for smoking under crinoline. Manservant gets eaten by grounded shitting flydog

pagwatch · 04/02/2010 12:51

(Hully, Your Highness.
Anything you like - but I would not wish to be dull)

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 12:53

Never dull, Paggy.

I'm guessing autism, but it sounds quite extreme?

OP posts:
Umami · 04/02/2010 12:53

Excellent news about the pipes.

I was about to ask what DS1 was called if DS2 was Pagboy, but I see he is Pagboy the First, which is rather splendid.

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 12:55

Umami, do you have just the one babbie?

(Get's all up close and personal, please say if don't wish to...)

OP posts:
pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:05

you are a sweet liar Your Maj

Yep. Severe autism. Very poor communication skills, huge obsessive traits, not much in the way of self help/personal care abilities but reluctance to wash pretty common in 13 year olds
He has always been at special school. has some very useful strengths like he can travel and likes new experiences, he is funny and affectionate. But has difficulties re anxiety and poor understanding around really simple things - like he can't answer 'what did you do today' or 'are you hurt. He is probably about 4 developmentally in social communication levels but a whizz on the computer and has a strong and developing interest in Victoria secret websites

Hes fab and lovely. Just quite hands on.

pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:06

ooh
up close and personal...

And you Hully?
Spill it Queenie

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:12

You have a good attitude. I like it.

2 dcs, ds 12 and dd 11. Er, what else?!

OP posts:
Umami · 04/02/2010 13:12

Just the one teeny weeny one here. Nearly 10 months.

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:16

Those days seem SO far away...but I remember the yellow projectile poo.

OP posts:
pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:20

Do they get on? Are they what you expected?

My Dcs have all confused the crap out of me
Ds1 is very bright and a cool boy , strikingly handsome but shy and thoughful, a real jock sportsman but hates the limelight..
DS2 is cool and groovy but has his Issues

DD is fucking extraordinary. Scarily confident, happy and The Popular Girl ( wtf?) but so sweet and almost too empathetic.

I think they are all mistakes and mix ups at the hospital. there is no other rational explantion.
( except DS2 probably fits )

Umamai

  • are you finding it easy or still a bit
pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:21
pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:22

I loved the bit when they were tiny
[sigh]

10 months is lovely
[sigh again]

Jamieandhismagictorch · 04/02/2010 13:23

Can I join in?

pag - I have a Charlie too. I kind of regret how common a name it has become, because it suits him and him alone (Oh, and Pagboy ...)

pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:23

I am a bit too keen on this bit I realise

Jamieandhismagictorch · 04/02/2010 13:25

Understood

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:27

I don't know what I expected - I had never really thought about having dc and then they sort of happened all at once. I wandered through my pregnancies largely in denial..But yes, they are very lovely (whose aren't, indeed?). DS is the nicest, happiest, jolliest boy you could meet who likes nothing better than to have a laugh (loves MN), but is also quite self-contained and does his own thing. He has never had a tantrum in his life. And he's terribly handsome (unbiased view).

DD is a funny old stick who is a bit too much like her mother than is good for her. Have to keep pointing out that tongue-biting is a good idea in one of her years as her peers collapse around her. But she is very sharp, fast and funny, and very kind (it's always her chosen to look after new kids etc). She's v handsome too.

Apart from the odd word they get along very well. Not sure how it would be if she were the elder, however. His tolerance and humour counts for a lot.

Da Dah!

Umami · 04/02/2010 13:28

So far mostly easy, but that, I think, is because I'm fairly laid back about having a life of my own. I have inadvertently become quite attachment-y so he is cuddled and fed to sleep, held an awful lot and sleeps with us. When he starts nursery soon, it is going to be positively hellish.

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:30

Well, we've been through a lot together, we can share now...

James, have you got more than one?

Re names, there was a thread a while ago asking if my ds's name had got too popular/chavvy. Was horrified. Was no one called it 13 years ago...

OP posts:
pagwatch · 04/02/2010 13:33

Jamie - do join in - I am just aware I am rabbiting quite a lot....

Hully

Ahh - terribly handsome too ( methinks more hospital mix ups)

Sense of humour is great I think. When DS1 hit angsty teenage and we were talking at cross purposes I think the fact that we still laughed at the same thing helped. He has desrcribed me as 'fucking scary but fucking hilarious' .
I was faintly proud.

Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:34

Come back and SHARE, damn you. We can start with Paggy's choc rolls. Nom nom.

OP posts:
Hullygully · 04/02/2010 13:36

Oh you have come back. Well all right then.
