Here

It's just so annoying - would people really buy this. The "boys" version is your typical type of globe - it's worse than the pink vets costume.

Did any one see QI a couple of weeks ago?

Only they were saying that up until (I think it was the 1920's) pink was the colour for boys. Blue was seen as softer and more feminine. And now everything 'for girls' is pink.

Funny old world.

Maybe this is actually an "Environmental Doomsday Globe", depicting what the world will look like 100 years from now when we have ravaged the planet with our insatiable desire for oil-based plastic tat!

I feel sorry for all the other colours really. Red doesn't get a look in. And what about green - great colour!

A friend got sent a free yellow Mini-micro scooter (limited edition colour, along with red and green) when she complained to them about only doing pink and blue.

The market for children to choose other colours IS there - the choice is not, in many cases

Am I missing something here? Why is it so terrible if girls love pink things? It is a bit tacky, but I don't see what harm it is doing, why is everybody so opposed to little girls being girly?

I'm wondering if Woodland Wonders are what they think we're all going to look like?

Not looking good for rabbits

crankytwanky · 18/01/2010 22:05

Good lord, those poor rabbits have been flayed!

MilaMae · 18/01/2010 22:18

cranky

Not sure why the mice get to survive.

They all make the dreaded Sylvanian Families seem positively multicultural.

My DD has this one. It is really quite small and looks more suited to younger children, but my 7.5 year old dd loves it.

belgo · 19/01/2010 10:54

Go for it Clayre! Don't listen to any of our opinions

Megapixels that's exactly the one I wanted to get for my children.
