to think cream eggs have totally changed?

I've just had my first Cream Egg of the year - ok, if I'm honest it's my first two [greedypig emoticon].

Anyhoo, is it just me or are they different this year? Sort of more fluffy inside rather than squidgy and gooey as I remember.

To be honest I'm not sure I really enjoyed them it that much.

They've changed the chocolate from dairy milk chocolate to just a bog standard chocolate and now you only get 5 in a box for the same price you used to get 6 in a box for. Did conduct a proper taste test last week at work with some colleagues and we agreed we couldn't really tell the difference in the chocolate but they looked like they'd got smaller. Ahem..we were working, honest

Boycotting Cadburys now too because of the lack of Cadburys chocolate in my beloved Cream Egg. Lindt in this house here too. Very, very sad day in my house when the Yanks announced they were changing a British institution.

Noooooo! I'd heard that the chocolate had gone to pot since Kraft took over, am afraid to try one now

The chocolate is thinner and shiny. Not got that lovely think bit at the top anymore
I ate one but I'm switching to Lindt or Galaxy I think.

Cadbury's is totally fucked now. [why is there no smiley called [bereft] - perhaps we could have one and it would be a picture of a creme egg to convey 'used to be great, is now similar to Satan's arse boils']

This has broken my heart. And also my bank balance as I've discovered Godiva chocolates, but at least they don't make me sad.

I'm renaming Cadbury chocolate. Be Wary Milk. Hhirl. Pisspa. Fake. Double Fecker. Etc.

I got some a couple of weeks ago and was really disappointed, the chocolate change has completely ruined them for me.

The recipe has definitely changed. They used to be my favourite sweet, but now they taste if it's possible, even worse than the rest of the Kraft-Cadbury's range. I wish they would just stop selling Cadbury's if they are going to screw with the recipe so badly that the chocolate tastes like vomit.

Vile things now, and, I think they have done something to mini eggs too.... Had a bad last week and they were disgusting. They didn't taste right and the chocolate tasted weird. Dh agreed with me. It still said cadbury chocolate on the bag but they certainly didn't taste like they did last year.
