who offers up this sort of information as an 'opening gambit'?

I would prefer not to have a TV but don't think OH would ever relinquish it. He watches football endlessly.

I find it very hard to sit and concentrate on a programme for any length of time so I don't watch the box. I'm ok on t'internet 'cause I'm here and there, surfing about and looking at lots of different things, so that's what I'm usually doing of an evening; that and making phone calls, having a bath, listening to radio. I'm fidgety, like.

Definitely no snobbery involved from me though, I have really enjoyed TV in the past, just not now.

I dont know anyone who says their kids dont watch tv, only dvds. Im feeling left out and common!
