Did anyone else see The Wright Stuff this morning? She looks really old now since losing all the weight, I know she has personal ishoos and stuff. She just looked better before, or at least facially she did.

im 10st 7 and i vary between a size 12 and a size 16, it really depends on how you carry your weight, so yes i think its quite possible she was a size16.

i got down to 8st 7lb and was a size 10. i think its really bitchy to analyse her and pick at her - she is happy and good luck to her. i know which id rather be - having been both a size 10 and a size 16 id much much rather be a size 10 again. now i have to really consider what i wear, when i was slim i could wear anything. and i felt amazing. if everyone is so bloody happy being fat then why is the diet industry such big business?

good luck to her i say.

geordieminx · 11/01/2010 19:52

Oh I def reckon that she was a 16 before, I just dont reckon that she was 10st 4lb

ThatVikRinA22 · 11/01/2010 19:56

why is it so hard to believe?

i weight a couple of pounds more than that but im a couple of inches taller, would anyone like to come and inspect the labels on my clothes?

some are 12, some are 14 and some are 16.

why would she lie fgs?

geordieminx · 11/01/2010 20:00

Would you look like this in a bikini?

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 11/01/2010 20:01

I'm 5ft 2 with small hands and feet and a small frame and at 10 stone 4 I would fit easily into any size 14 and size 12 in some shops. Agree that she was more like 12 stone in that bikini shot in the sea!

MaggieMnaSneachta · 11/01/2010 20:06

geordieminx, i agree, not that it matters, but i'm also five foot 2 so I can tell that she weighed more than 10.4 in the beach shot. closer to 11.4.

I'd say she is about 8 stone 8 now.

curryfreak · 11/01/2010 20:29

I', 5.7. At 10.4 I would be wearing a loose 12.
Am a tight 14 at the monent, and just about to take some action to shift the flab.
Well done to her on losing the weight,- it's hard work and tedious.
I do however take exception to 'celebs' telling porkies. It's an insult to our intellegence!

Wigglesworth · 11/01/2010 20:32

OMFG just seen the advert for Jessie Wallaces new DVD, she looks dreadful. If that is her dolled up for a DVD I would hate to see her au natural, she looks very sinuey and wierd.

She is plugging a diet.

So that given that in one shop, for one dress, she had to have a 16, that means - for publicity purposes - she was a Size 16.

And if she has managed to shoe-horn herself into a size 6 something, that means she is now a Size 6, or whatever it is. For the same reason.

She's not going to say, "well I got into a six, but I think it was mis-labelled so I am probably nearer an eight", is she? Would you?

Eddas · 11/01/2010 20:50

I agree GM, she was no way 10st4 or whatever she said. I'm 5ft4 and a 16 on the bottom half, 14 on top and weigh 12st.

geordieminx · 11/01/2010 20:50

I think people would have a lot more respect for her if she was honest. By spouting all that "I was so embarrassed getting undressed, and disgusted with what I saw when I was ((shock)) 10st 4lb" just turns folk against her. It not only makes her out to be a big fat skinny liar, it also alienates anyone who weighs over 10st - probably 95% of the target audience for her pish pot dvd

Oblomov · 11/01/2010 20:58

I have really gone off her.
I am 5'2''. I weigh less than 10 stone and am a size 12. She was a size 16 atleast in those photos.
I think Ricky was in denial. I think she is ambitious and is in denial thinking this weight loss will start a zoom in her acting career.
Yes she could have done with losing a bit. so could we all.
she looks terrible now. strained. artificial.
I believe him when he says she was obsessed. you have to be obsessed to lose weight on those silly diets. didn't eastenders/stricly come dancing girl do one, then piled it all back on.

The whole thing is just sour and nasty.

Janos · 11/01/2010 20:58

I'm kicking myself for posting here (not literally, that would be a bit painful), but as a fellow 5ft 2/10st woman (comfortable size 12 btw) there is no WAY she was that size in the 'before' photos.

Janos · 11/01/2010 21:00

I mean no way she was 10st 4. For the sake of clarity. She looks a lot heavier.

I was 12st at one point (ouch) and wore a 16/18 then.

MummyPigLive · 11/01/2010 21:13

Is she 5'2"?

Cos I am that height and her 'new weight'(7'10) and I'm definately bigger (you know what I mean) than her. Those photos have been 'shopped to within an inch of their lives.

Of course, all credit to her for losing the weight if she felt she had to. But this is a real bugbear of mine - all the 'And now I'm 8st'/can fit into size 8 etc. I look and think 'Err DOUBT it!' I can't fit into an 8 in ANY shop!

Needs to lose the hairstyle - bit too Lego

Oblomov · 11/01/2010 21:19

She may want to be a size 6. I don't.
Like ghouls ,my natural size is a 12. I have been it for 20 years, count myself lucky that this requires little effort.

Is it the norm to want to be a size 6 rather than a 12 then ?

Saw pics of her in OK magazine and she looked much older, quite haggered in the face at times. No way did I think she was only early 30s. I thought she was a good few years older than me, def not younger!

ninah · 11/01/2010 21:26

I think her body looks OK but her face looks grim. I thought it was in your 40s you had to choose between face or body not in your 30s.

Tht might explain the haggered look then.

fabhead · 11/01/2010 21:42

so glad someone started this thread, I have been thinking this all week (she is everywhere). Obviously great she slimmed down but she has so overdone it like they all do, she looks so haggard and at least 10y older with that hairstyle (I thought she was stephanie beecham at first glance the other day). It's a shame. It's easily done, you look great when you lose weight but it is so easy to pass through into the haggard stage unless you are naturally very slim (somewhere between size 8-6 ime).

I am also a bit hmmmm that someone has paid her a lot of money to lose a lot of weight very quickly in an unhealthy, obsessive way to make a fitness DVD that is being marketed as a good way to lose weight healthily. I know it's mean but I will be really interested to see if she can sustain it.

fabhead · 11/01/2010 21:59

and i'm not just being mean, i've been there, I went from a 16-6, tho not as quickly, a couple of years ago, basically by starving myself and a lot of running. I definitely looked too haggard at one point and now, 2y later am a happy 10 and, I hope, look a lot better. I just can see the pounding she is going to get in the press though for finding that equilibrium in public. And I wouldnt have dreamed of recomending what I did as healthy or doing a DVD (not that anyone asked LOL) as it wasn't. The only way to do it is to starve yourself, neglect your friends and family to excercise obsessively and have little fun - no meals out, no alcohol. Was worth it to get to the healthy 10 definietly, but I wouldn't want to advertise it to young girls as the best way to do it.

MmeLindt · 11/01/2010 22:06

She is 34? She is younger than me and looks much older

MaggieMnaSneachta · 11/01/2010 22:33

did anybody see her on sleb come dine with me.

i just like her. she came across as a real person. sherrie hewson came across as a silly drunken attention-seeking biddy. in my humble opinion
