I reckon from this thread that people who are depressed fall off the radar from time to time.

Do such people prefer to be called or not to be called at all? I am not sure how to behave.

Last time I arranged to meet up with a friend (who told me she was suffering from depression), she blew me out at the last minute with a flimsy excuse.

Totally agree Blueshoes. Scrimble... Don't underestimate how depressing and tiring toddlers can be- ask her if she's okay/ depressed?!

Also agree with RainRain as I'm better with some friends than with others.

I do feel bad about sporadic contact to try to be consistent if less frequently in touch and golden rule- never agree to meeting unless committed as I never let people down and consider this the height of bad manners!
