to think that Alan Rickman is a NORMAL crush

Loads of people fancy Alan Rickman, don't they? Was talking about celebrity crushes with some friends, mentioned AR and they all went 'Err, no! He's weird.' I pointed out that lots of people fancied him, and they all said that wasn't true, I was mad etc.

No Marianne doesn't want to marry him really! It's all about Sense = good, Sensibility = muppet

Mr Rochester is much better any day - now that would be good casting

YADNBU. He is divine! And it is totally his voice.

Although I met him once and have to say that the RL vision did not live up to the man in Sense and Sensibility! He was uber grumpy.

But the voice was as sexy as ever.

I remember fancying him when he was in Barchester Chronicles on the beeb way last century. He played Obadiah Scrope. It is the voice, although the tight breeches and boots in Robin Hood were great as well!

Oh so totally agree that Alan Rickman is the man.

I love him in his over the top nasty baddie roles most (what does that say about me? Best not answered, that one).

Also Sheriff of Nottingham, he must have had fun playing that part.

Oo, yes he would make a GREAT Mr Rochester!

I fell for him in Robin Hood, I felt that the love of a good woman would have turned him from his evil ways (and of course, I was that woman! ). And I liked him as Snape in HP. And of course, thanks for reminding me of his Col Brandon.

Even his Marvin in HGTTG was inspired, like its already been said, "its the voice"

I didn't even know who he was until I saw Harry Potter From his first words on screen when he gave that little speech about potions, I went weak at the knees.

It IS a weird crush to have - but there's just something about him!
