I had a good time, I got lead singer status on Abba sing star [preens], and nearly peed myself laughing when DD put the sound effects on my Dad singing Waterloo. It was like Alvin.

DH went to bed with food poisioning (not mine).

I have taken all my decorations down and they're back in the roofspace.

well done coco.

(On the decs, not the singing)

I liked it.

Over too quick though.

Am determined that we are going to be in a bigger house by next christmas though.

I've enjoyed Christmas very much. I'm glad you did too Trinity, you're in my thoughts.

I had a good christmas. Performed the ukulele well, despite much wine and port. Had a lovely meal prepared by others which the dds hated. They were ravenous and raided teh pretzel dish.

CoqAuVin · 26/12/2009 20:23

Wasn't really looking forward to Christmas this year as H & I separated a few months ago. But I'm a great believer in it being what you make it & as the day approached I was determined that I'd make it as enjoyable as possible. We (me & 2 DCs) had a lovely, quiet, relaxing time. So sad for you Trinity & Jux. I miss my mum especially at this time of year, shed a few (more) tears, then made the best of it. I've always loved Christmas which helps.

Lovely day yesterday and best presents in years.

Today saw in-laws which was nice and amusing.

Glad Trinity and Jux had good days.

My OH, DD and me had a lovely day too, apart from the snowy roads. Lovely breakfast at my PIL with all my BILs and SIL then gorgeous dinner with my folks. DD got lovely gifts ( a mix of toys/clothes and people were all nice to each other.Only prob was my OH locked us out the house when we got home, thankfully MIL lives nearby and has a spare key. Course by New Year we'll have some kind of family feud going but am enjoying the peace and harmony while it lasts!!

Unlikelyamazonian · 27/12/2009 20:16
