To think that justin fletcher is the best childrens presenter (cue jeremy clarkson voice) IN THE WORLD!!

He is isn't he - he clearly loves children - probably because he is still a big kid himsellf. But its heartening to see a childrens present who actually LIKES children, instead of using it as a stepping stone to the one show - cerrie for instance and alex (puke).

I can't remember where I read/heard it now but I'm sure he's gay!

Alex has a wedding band I noticed - not that, that means anything I guess!

NormaSknockers · 19/12/2009 16:23

Oh hang on, I might be getting myself confused here Ok Chris (as in Chris & Pui) is gay so maybe I'm getting muddled - I was sure I read that Andy was gay too Blame me for believing to much of what I read

nannynobnobs · 19/12/2009 18:26

I just assumed Chris was gay, he's camp as a big pink tent. I missed him and Pui, so glad they are back on Show me show me!

BellaBear · 19/12/2009 18:41

Sarah Jayne is currently doing pantomime in St Albans. Local papers are full of her.

theyoungvisiter · 19/12/2009 18:46

I was a big fan of Justin until Gigglebiz which I loathe! It's all a bit too Little-Little Britain for comfort, IMO. There's definitely a Matt Lucas look to Justin in full drag.

However that aside, he is a diamond.

Also a big fan of Sid and Andy. I don't think Andy's gay. No evidence for that mind you!

NormaSknockers · 19/12/2009 18:48

I always felt there was quite a bit of sexual tension between Justin & Sarah-Jayne

theyoungvisiter · 19/12/2009 18:50

Urgh, Sarah Jane is about as sexy as a bucket of cold baked beans.

I like Pui though. If I were a man I would go out with her.

I keep waiting for Alex and Cerrie to grow on me but the growth has yet to occur. They are so stagey it makes me grimace.

NormaSknockers · 19/12/2009 18:53

Did anyone see the Cbeebies panto yesterday? I couldn't work out if Pui was really short or PC twat Plum was very tall

Cerrie & Alex haven't grown on me either, that Katy from I Can Cook iritates me no end too!

nannynobnobs · 19/12/2009 18:53

Sarah Jayne always wound me up. I used to groan with dismay if it was her on Tikkabilla (but drool slightly if it was the lovely Paul with the sideshow Bob hair)
She always looked like she was trying to look young and fun with her hair in bunches but the result was a bit sad and pitiful!

theyoungvisiter · 19/12/2009 18:59

Katy is alright as long as she doesn't sing IMO.

It's the soulful guitar riffs about cheese scones that get my goat.

lou031205 · 19/12/2009 19:03

He is children's tv's David Jason.

ijustwanttoaskaquestion · 19/12/2009 20:01

grrr - sarah-jane, stuff her and her sodding pigtails DP goes all daft and stupid whenever she comes on the telly, the slut!!

MaggieAnFiaRua · 19/12/2009 20:05

sarah jane can't sing. how can she be in a musical! arghgh

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 19/12/2009 20:07

YANBU. He seems to have a good sense of humour, brains and DS loves him.

CardyMow · 19/12/2009 23:52

YANBU!! I heart Justin! before my DS2 could talk, he learnt to sign 'juice' to me by watching Justin (he is SN, didn't say his first word til 3.1, didn't talk in proper sentences till 5.4)...I will say again....I HEART JUSTIN!!!

Hexagon1 · 31/12/2010 00:55

Am very disappointed with Justin Fletcher,i work at the Hexagon theatre in Reading and last night (29/12/10) He left a 2 year old and 3 year old outside in the cold (with their parents)waiting for over an hour and a half to meet him at the stage door, when he saw people waiting to meet him,he handed his keys in and snuck out of another exit.

POOR SHOW JUSTIN

I mean,it would have taken all of one minute to have a photo, smile and say thank you for waiting but it just shows his true colours when the camera isn't on him.

POOR SHOW JUSTIN.

FiveColdRingsForSolo · 31/12/2010 01:09

Massively talented comic actor...will it be Sir tumble or Sir Justin when he gets his knighthood. Surely he qualifies...!

Chil1234 · 31/12/2010 08:09

Had exactly the same experience as Hexagon1 a few years ago post-panto, left in the cold outside the High Wycombe Swan. Consequently think the man is a total fraud and not as sugary-sweet as he paints himself. So he can sign... big fucking deal :)

mumbar · 31/12/2010 08:15

He is just as lovely on RL. He does adore children, is brilliant with children with SN. He came to our school and we just watched him sign in shame, we thought we were good until he came along. Blush.

I can actually endure cbeebies now he is on it alot!!!

carrotcake29 · 31/12/2010 08:18

I don't really think that he comes across as very sincere with the children...his fake laugh etc Not keen on him. Worryingly my oh thinks he is fab and is glued to gigglebiz frequently.

Spinkle · 31/12/2010 08:23

I watched him with an autistic kid the other day on telly and I have to say he was fab with the boy.

shanks313 · 31/12/2010 08:33

We went to see Justin at Hexagon on Monday and had a great experience. He smiled and winked at my girls throughout the performance.
Afterwards we realised people were outside the stage door waiting for him and we went down to hopefully talk to him.
Justin came out for 5 minutes to sing the Hello song.. Talk to the parents and children and have pictures taken. Top man:)

CalamityKate · 31/12/2010 09:39

See that hairy dog in Gigglebiz? That dog is my dog's son.

It is my one (admittedly slightly tenuous and not particularly impressive) claim to fame Grin
