Ahhh Ron Hills the most unflatering trousers ever.

Dump him.

chickensaresafehere · 09/12/2009 18:13

Depends if he's got much to put in them!!!!:0

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 18:19

Lets put it this way...he is no Linford Christie....

OP posts:
Jux · 09/12/2009 18:19

Why do you think he might?

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 18:23

Not might...has...on 3 separate occasions...

badietbuddy · 09/12/2009 18:23

Would you prefer him to rock up in this beauty?

5inthesleighbed · 09/12/2009 18:24

DH used to wear a pair like that when he cycled to work. He is 6'4'' and has very skinny legs and no arse. Not his best look.

YANBU

MarioandLuigi · 09/12/2009 18:24

Had he been running or cycling?

If not give him the heave ho, those trousers are truly shocking. My PE teacher had a grey pair in te 80's.

ShutUpandDrinkYourMulledWine · 09/12/2009 18:25

we had a teacher at school who used to wear them for sport (he wasn;t PE staff - chemistry i think)

it was a bit obscene

pennyrain · 09/12/2009 18:26

OOHHHHH!!

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 18:27

He had not been taking part in any type of exercise...they are his "casual wear".

It just makes me think of that PE teacher in Grange Hill...

Coffee just came out of my nose Dump him immediately

diddl · 09/12/2009 18:29

Def get rid!

claw3 · 09/12/2009 18:31

Did he wear them with shoes?

SqueezinAroundTheXmasTree · 09/12/2009 18:31

"Casual wear" - that is inexcusable! Fair enough if it's because he has been out running but not as a casual everyday leezure wear situation

claw3 · 09/12/2009 18:32

and did he tuck his t-shirt in, trying to build up a mental image here, its hilarious!

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 18:33

Trainers...was tempted to get the scissors there and then and release the stirrup elastic

hobbgoblin · 09/12/2009 18:34

You cannot wear ronhills unless sporty or a lake district resident and in the case of the latter, you still look a twat just amongst other twats so you don't stick out like a sore thumb so much - more of a walking willy than a thumb i suppose.

ElizabethWakefield · 09/12/2009 18:37

Casual wear?? Casual wear!! Not even been doing sport of some kind?

It is a dumping offense!

Lapsedrunner · 09/12/2009 18:38

Absolutely nothing wrong with Ron Hills providing he is about to go or has just been for a run or is on his way to a race/event.

claw3 · 09/12/2009 18:40

LOL bless his little cotton stirrups.

So other than wearing dodgy sports wear and having a average size package, what are his redeeming qualities?

Lapsedrunner · 09/12/2009 18:42

ooooh, you don't actually wear the stirups, very uncomfortable in my experience ....yes I have owned a pair or two

ChickensHaveNoTinsel · 09/12/2009 18:44

I couldn't be seen in public with anyone wearing such attire. Unless, of course, you are dating at the gym. Or up a mountain. Gawd, does he wear socks with them?

BitOfFun · 09/12/2009 18:45

Does he have any redeemimng features? I am very close to saying Dump.
