I never usually cry "Leave him" on a thread... but on this occasion...

LEAVE HIM!

BitOfFun · 09/12/2009 19:00

The fleece clinches it.

Louby3000 · 09/12/2009 19:02

Ha! You saved the fleece bit didnt you!?

ImSoNotTelling · 09/12/2009 19:05

Good lord.

I would not know where to look what to think if a new boyfriend turned up sporting those without a darned good reason.

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 19:28

The fleece makes him look ... quite frankly... fucking insane riduculous TBH....

My friends dh wears those trews all the time...with a bum bag...and giant white trainers.....

2rebecca · 09/12/2009 19:31

I wear them when running and round the house. Wouldn't wear them on a date though, but suspect some of my more sporty (but nice) male friends would as blokes can be a bit clueless.

LynetteScavo · 09/12/2009 19:34

He, um, obviously feels very confident with you.

Insist on calling him "skinny legs" whenever he wears them, and he might stop.

claw3 · 09/12/2009 19:35

Get yourself a pair, his n hers, if you cant beat em, join em.

andlipsticktoo · 09/12/2009 19:35

Is he in the army?

My dad used to wear them as 'casual' - it was a kind of out of work uniform for most men in the army at that time!

Can't believe anyone actually wears them now though!
Utter puce.

CybilLiberty · 09/12/2009 19:36

andlipstick..my mates dh was in the Terrotorial Army, it obviously applies to them too

LynetteScavo · 09/12/2009 19:38

Years ago I knew an ex army bloke who wore them. He once got the piss really taken out of him by some teenage boys who thought he was gay.

Ready for action at any time...

hohoholepew · 09/12/2009 19:38

My Dad (ex-Army) wore them too. It's traumatised me for life. One look at Lycra and I come out in hives.

EdgarAleNPie · 09/12/2009 19:41

do you think if you cried he would stop wearing them?

muggglewump · 09/12/2009 19:44

Turn up where?

YANBU. They are the kind of thing that shouldn't exist, never mind be worn.

Who does wear them (other than your bf of course)

Ladyanonymous · 09/12/2009 19:48

...at my home....with sexual intent...

ChickensHaveNoTinsel · 09/12/2009 19:49

Ewwwwwwww! Noooooooooo!

muggglewump · 09/12/2009 19:50

Oh dear.

Well p'raps, he's wanting you to notice his cock?

I bet on the next date he'll wear these

littlemoominmamma · 09/12/2009 19:50

Does he get a sweaty crutch as well? Just asking!

potatofactory · 09/12/2009 19:52

Not excusable. I couldn't - bleurgh.

I really don't think that your relationship can flourish if you are already (justifiably) mocking him on public internet forums, tbh.

upahill · 09/12/2009 19:54

OMG They are so early 1990's!! I still have a couple of pairs that I wear under waterproofs for caving as an extra layer but I make damm sure no one sees me in them. And your boyfriend wears them on a date???? Sorry but he'd be my ex boyfriend by now!!

flossie64 · 09/12/2009 19:56

My Dh had some when I met him, he's in the forces. He went away on detachment and they mysteriously dissappeared
They are the worst piece of clothing known to womankind.

JackTheHallsWithBauersOfHolly · 09/12/2009 19:58

My little bruv wears them when he is training and I rip the piss out of him, so YANBU if he doesn't even have that excuse!

JustAnotherManicMummy · 09/12/2009 20:00

I just showed DH, who ROFLed. This from a man who dresses like my dad...
