they are too big, too dry and too messy.

YANBU. I really dislike them. They are too big and I get bored eating them half way through.

CheerfulYank · 07/12/2009 16:39

Muffins are divine! I have to make my own to insure their gluten-freeness, but they are always delicious!

Um...what's a fairy cake?

purpleduckUnderTheMistletoe · 07/12/2009 16:47

hope

YES!!! put that on a cv! Whos doesn't want a colleague who loves to bake and share?

I think the problem here is that you bought the sainsbos ones. What you need to do is get yourself to M&s and buy a pack of the miniature white chocolate and lemon ones. And then eat them all. [drool]

I will post it once ds is in bed

Book here recipes on the Amazon page reader just scroll forward. There is a picture of the chocolate ones. I did the chocolate frosting and the only difference between the vanilla cupcake recipe and the chocolate one I made is 100g plain flour and 20g cocoa powder (instead of 120g plain flour in the vanilla recipe).

The method and cooking time/temp is exactly the same.

MollieO · 07/12/2009 18:53

Don't know why that didn't work. Again

Another recipe I like that is really successful is this one - Blueberry Crumble Muffin courtesy of Ocado. The crumble addition is lovely.

They probably are stupid but they taste delicious when made with yummy ingredients.
