To still be rather pissed off about this..?

So this morning Mum and I got into an argument. I said I was really getting quite upset and annoyed with how my brother has been treating me, to which her responce was something along the lines of "Well its your fault he's playing up; you kept the baby. Stop complaining about the fact you're still pregnant, you made your choice."

I was really fuming and upset by this, and stormed waddled off to town for about seven hours to try and calm down. I'm still really angry though...

given the situation, i am sure SS would understand that you'd be better off living with your DP, than staying home with your mum and brother surely??

anyway, it's YOUR decision. but personally i would expect my partner to be looking after me when our first child was due. having a one bed place is not a problem at all

drools Raw steak... Pate... Goats cheese on toast... The bottles of wine from my 18th...

39+1 with twins?! Major respect there. Am 37+3 with a singleton and going bonkers. I would bow down in awe but don't think I could get back up

lol, my bump's pretty neat and I've been super healthy, no anaemia or anything. Plus done it two times before and am physically fit (and have an excellent DH and PIL).

They were worrying because it looked like I might have some high BP but they have monitored it for the last 4 weeks and decided it is just white coat syndrome (as I said) and that the initial borderline BP monitoring was down to the sonographer making a mistake and writing in my notes (from memory) that both babies were transverse - they were actually both head down, and I'd need a section not the very carefully planned Midwifery unit birth the hospital and I have planned for several months!

Have to go back on Monday for more monitoring, am hoping the babies will be born on Hallowe'en.

Blimey... Hats off to you!! Do keep me updated, won't you? I will most most annoyed if not DP and his workmates have a poll going () and he is wanting so much for it to be Hallow'een! Glad to hear they're both head down - do you know their genders? (Sorry, am so nosey..!) I had a worry this week, they thought he'd stopped growing, but he's fine, just small

Lol, yes. My mum and I have had our 50p bets on Hallowe'en since we found out it was twins! They were always head down, the sonographer was just completely batty incompetent but it scared me! lol We know one is a boy for sure, we're about as convinced as we can be that the other is a girl but they won't tell you for sure with a girl and she's always been a bit of a PITA when the sonographers have had anything to do with her - moving and wriggling away out of sight or blocking them from seeing the blood flow through the cord! lol

Will be 40 weeks on Tuesday and my others were born at 40+6 and 40+3 so it's possible it'll be Hallowe'en but I think more likely I might hit 40 weeks.

My older two were smallish too 6lb 5oz and 7lb when born, I am 5'8" so they should have been bigger than that really. They didn't notice my DS was too small (nothing wrong with him, I had an untreated hypothyroid) and they panicked about my DD when she was actually a healthy weight. They thought my friend's baby was too small too and she was 10lb when she was born! They're infamously bad at guessing the size of babies! As long as the baby is moving normally and you're OK everything should be fine.

Yes, mines been head down right from the 20 week scan, though is still adamently facing my right hip! When they were trying to check for cleft pallet at 20 weeks he kept both his hands over his face and stuck his tounge out Was so proud.

I have 18 days till my due date (not that I'm counting!!) - have developed SPD and am anemic... Though they'd told me I've VERY anemic, and that just doesn't seem right to me, and with the ME am quite good at monitoring my energy levels etc. Am taking the tablets like a good girl though!!

I'm hoping he has a small head, other than that not fussed! Weight estimate this week was just over 6lbs, but we'll see!
