Now, a hat and scarf to match??? Plain red or plain blue????

This post should probably be in style and beauty!

V.cute and suitably toddler-ish. And since when did girls have the monopoly on red, or on stars?

katiestar · 19/10/2009 11:50

I think it looks girly.Sorry.Not sure why !

(am I going mad or have we had a thread about a similar coat before)

LadyOfTheFlowers · 19/10/2009 11:53

I would deffo get it for my boys, but not red. If they do blue I would get that, or brown - love brown.

DS2 gets mistaken for a girl anyway so wouldnt risk red for him.
(He has bright blonde 'page-boy' hair with a slight curl to it) But.... his face is very 'boyish' not feminine whatsoever.

Morloth · 19/10/2009 11:58

It is a bit girly, but that isn't a bad thing. DS liked to wear a lot of pink up until very recently. I used to tell people he was secure in his masculinity.

If your DS likes it then get it.

WOW! Been at work today so just logged on!
I did look at Debenhams as someone said there was an even nicer one.......wish they had linked it as they were all a bit ummmmm........

I would have thought these were girls

www.tobytiger.co.uk/jackets-and-gilets/jacket-soft-cord-pink.html

and these were boys

Any other links to fab coats??

I put my two boys in red coats until the were at least 6. Not only did they look great, but they were really easy to spot in a playground full of blue and brown

sally78 · 19/10/2009 21:21

Where from lockets?

VerityBrulee that is a serious advantage!!

Heated I am so relieved you said that, I really did think I was having deja vu then!

I like it too OP, like bright stuff like this for littlies.

Greatgoing · 19/10/2009 21:55

OP do you work for Toby Tiger

RussianDolls · 19/10/2009 21:59

I think it is fine for a boy.

I put my DS in red.

How is it girly????

sally78 · 19/10/2009 22:03

No! Wish I did after my day at work!

Inghouls2 · 19/10/2009 22:03

It's lovely, but the combination of red and stars together does make it a little girly...
I think the brown and blue is really nice.

sally78 · 19/10/2009 22:05

pink with stars and I may agree Inghoules, but what are boys aloud to wear then!?

OP posts:
pointyhat · 19/10/2009 22:15

yep, suitable for boy or girl

sally78 · 19/10/2009 22:29

I like it, but I like the Toby Tiger stuff, and the quality is not really comaprible to matalan etc (not slating other shops or where people shop, just making a point from what others said)

My Ds would def be mistaken for a girl though......I don't know why, I think he is obviously a boy, and at 2.2 thought it would be even more obvious...I still get asked though, esp when he is in his toby tiger stripey hooded top funnily enough....
