for my husband ignoring verrugas/warts in his genitals?

Hi!! Please, help!!
A few months ago, I've notice a couple of small verrugas in my husband genitals, I told him to get check and nothing happened, until they star getting bigger, so I did get quite piss off, and tell him to go and have it check, so he finally went, and he has to have them remove, they don't know yet if they are warts or verrugas, so they suggest I go and have a smear myself.
I feel angry, frustrated, and disgusted.

Please get both of you checked. There are many types of human papilloma virus (HPV), most are benign, but a few types can put you at serious risk of developing cancer of the cervix. A clinic can order tests to find out which virus type you have, and instigate treatment. Do not allow your husband to ignore this. Most men are hopeless at looking after their health, and push the problem to the back of their minds. In this case it has potentially serious risks to your own health, and should be made to realize this.

Was about to post as per girlywirly. Just to add some types of HPV can also cause penile cancer. If thats not incentive enough for him to get checked I don't know what is.

You are right to be angry at him for not going to get the warts checked out but you can't be angry at him for him losing his hair. Men lose their hair as they get older you can't send him off to a hair clinic.

Hi everyone!,
I'm not angry with him for loosing his hair, is for the fact that he doesn't seem to care, careless attitude, that it says to me he's taken me for granted. In anyway, he wasn't exactly the "lion king" when we meet (in hairy terms)

Anyway, I've done quite bit of research on the net, lots of info, and hopefully everything goes ok, tomorrow I have the test.

Thanks for the updates on the "smear test procedure", Justanothermunicmum.

My DH had a wart on his penis when we first got together. I noticed it almost straight away and was like wtf? Apparantly even though it was a wart on his genitals it wasn't a genital wart.

He had a wart on his hand and the GP thinks he passed it onto his own genitals. too much wanking

Unless he was talking bollocks, but I had unprotected sex with him lots while he still had it and never caught anything. I think his just went away without treatment.

Hi Stripey...!
Hopefully will be just that. I just never have nothing suspicious, no pain, itches, during sex, or anything like that, neither discharge, or phisical changes in the area.
I must say that it doesn't look doggy, it cacht my eye 'cause was growing bigger, but not nasty looking. The GP suggested him to have them remove, but no treatment necessary.
