My 3 years old goes to afternoon nursery but we have the option of wraparound care. My dd goes to same school and they are having a Harvest assembly. Planning to send him to school all day so I can concentrate on my olders childs harvest assembly.

I think Ppl come here for advice, not judgements and criticism... If there were a Perfect parent out there id b very shocked... We all do our best and i hope u and ur family enjoy the day whatever your decision...

He has been booked in and he is really excited about going all day.

Sounds like an excellent idea. Average attention span is your age plus 1 minute. So 20 minutes is pushing it.

YANBU, obviously.

Daftpunk, on the other hand, is vvvv unreasonable, not to mention rude, judgemental, and downright silly.

FimbleHobbs · 13/10/2009 23:22

YANBU, this is a no brainer to me. Theres nothing wrong with focussing on just one child now and again.

It never occured to me that DD would like to see DS's harvest thing - she'll be in nursery when I go to watch it. (Although he has already sung it to both of us at home, sounds suspiciously like the cbeebies autumn harvest song but I digress)

piscesmoon · 14/10/2009 00:09

YANBU- not only will your DD get your undivided attention, but you will make all the other parents very happy . There is nothing worse than a noisy toddler spoiling it for everyone.

Monsterspam · 14/10/2009 00:15

YANBU - agree with pisces
