Hate is a pretty strong word for two young kids. As Cheryl said, it's not their fault they made it through to the final 12. they are, however, utterly without talent imo.

Just saw the last clip at the end when putting up numbers. They had such a huge loud backing track with backing singers to drown out their terrible voices. What a con.

Just had a look on YouTube. They do seem to be exceptionally poor.

They aren't massively talented, but my girls love them. They are there for entertainment - wasn't their set full of action? Saw them receiving their criticism and could see it was hard to take. They are only 17 and have already had loads of bad press. To be honest, I felt sorry for them.I bet they get loads of votes from young kids - they must be this year's Same Difference.

They are lovely lads but absolutely no talent get them out now!!!!

AIBU to absolutely, completely, irrefutably DESPISE ALL REALITY TV shows.
It took me a while to realise that the OP was talking about the TV programme and not twins in general (I have twins)as the later would have turned bloody, Birkins at dawn..... [harrr].

HATE is too strong a word, they are typically arrogant, immature 17 yr old lads who have huge egos and no talent.

Louis is setting them up for public humiliation and he will still be able to hold his head up in public whilst your average shit thick person on the street will be booing them, and all sorts.

I feel they have been put in the lions den. They havent got the strength of character or the maturity to cope with (uncalled for) National hatred

oh dear everysinglestar there is no hope for them, even their mentor who put them though basically said they cant sing.

Yeah - the boys faces after Louis said that kind of went from shock to sadness.

I'm not sure if they really think they can sing or if they're riding the gravy train now.

You can see how they're pulling viewers in with their loathsomeness. But I do think its so unfait that they've taken a place on the final 12 when other talented people missed out. I liked that girl who was one of 14 siblings. Think how she feels knowing they got further than her.

Unless the twins are tone deaf,

This is why they're there guys... to generate fury throughout the country.

I reckon the producers bribed Louis with his trip to Lake Como, as long as he agreed to put them through. He does seem very glum about the whole shenanigins now.

By being allowed to come this far they must have been told they were good enough at some point, by Louis or whoever else pulls the strings.

So consequently they must on some level feel they deserve to be there. And then to face the public backlash must be bewildering.

Of course they are not good enough to be anywhere near the final...Louis Walsh is clever enough to know they will get people talking and watching and who knows lots of people might vote to keep them in for the cringe factor and to stick 2 fingers up to Cowell.
