Used one pack of Huggies when DD was newborn, found that they leaked a lot so never bought them again.

Tend to buy whatever is on offer (supermarket own or Pampers) - obviously do get occasional leaks but only when the nappy is hugely full (or there is a monster up-to-the-shoulders poo).
3 years down the line (with DD no longer in nappies and DS now 17 months old), partner bought a box of Huggies because they were on offer. They have leaked nearly every single night and often during the day as well.

I am sure that this cannot be the same for everyone otherwise they would be out of business.

DD was a teeny prem when she wore them and DS is a big bruiser so can't be that they fit fat/skinny babies better.

So is anyone happy with Huggies?

(I am not going to be converted to cloth I am happy with my current anything-but-Huggies Earth destroyers )

i was a huggies mum for dd as thought they were softer. soon changed my mind when we went to florida and every single one of them leaked every time she did a pee on the flight. 9 hours, 11 nappies and one wet little girl later and we never used them again (15 mths old at this point). Huggies looked into it and apparantly it was some manufacturing error and sent us a load of vouchers.
Now use pampers for ds though will give some others a try after reading this.

My Dsis hates Huggies but I've never had a problem with them on DS - in fact we've used Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Pampers and Huggies and have only ever had occasional leaks when there's been a massive poo. One thing I do find is the the cheaper brands - esp Sainsbury's swell up massively when wee'd in - DS always stank of pee in the mornings in the Sainsbury's ones even though they hadn't leaked. He's currently in Pampers Simply Dry and they fine.
