I agree with LadyoftheBathtub, i think that having Alesha on the panel has made me appreciate how brilliant Arlene was, despite her constant use of rehearsed alliteration.
I hope the BBC realise that you cannot beat experience. Alesha will not be back for the next series.
If they want to get rid of someone, i wish it was Tess Daly, but i doubt that this will happen as Tess is brilliant at brown nosing old Brucie, which means that she will probably keep her job.

Who watches for the judges though? It fluffy telly. Cheryl and Dannii know sweet FA about singing. Bruce needs to go, his ego knows no bounds.

Main problem with Alesha is that she can't disagree with the other judges (no authority), and the other judges can't disagree with her (shooting fish in a barrel) so as well as bringing no knowledge or experience she brings no tension. She is literally there to look pretty. But hey, that's telly for you.

The should have kept Arlene (she was the Simon Cowell of the show) and brought Alesha in as the 5th judge. Everybody would have been happy then.

She is utterly terrible as a judge...and I don'tknow what I think is worse...her doign the fluffy lines or her actually criiquing the dancing...
and what was with her earings...god, they made me cringe, how they pulled down her earlobes...shudder...

I think the BBC wanted a Cheryl Cole factor.

The difference is anybody can say you are a truely awful singer or recognise another Elaine Paige.

Only an experienced dancer can comment on good/bad dancing technique.

I am finding this series boring as it lacks a John Sargent/Fiona Phillips character.
