and I often think that if Steven Fry were straight I could go for him too.

Hugh Laurie ought not to be allowed to go to America and become a sex symbol. He IS Bertie Wooster.

millenniumfalcon · 09/09/2009 12:47

hah i had an evil boss once who reminded me muchly of hugh laurie as the prince in blackadder. ewwwww.

david mitchell on the other hand is eminently faniciable (just not by me )

morningpaper · 09/09/2009 12:50

I did fancy David Mitchell for a looong time (and I give these things a great deal of thought) but after reading the interview with him mentioned below I decided he was probably far too nice and actually needed a nice girl who was interested in rock collections or something.

I need someone who's basically a bastard with a massive pension. Greg House fills all these criteria.

MadameOvary · 09/09/2009 12:52

I know what you mean, I think he'd make a fab companion but he seems not to be very cuddly.

Happy to be proved wrong tho!

morningpaper · 09/09/2009 12:54

David Mitchell would make a marvellous pet

I'm not sure he would really push you against the wall and give you a good seeing-to, though

GoldenSunset · 09/09/2009 13:02

You'e right MP. I need a cross between Russell Brand and David Mitchell

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 09/09/2009 13:03

boak @ brand/mitchell hybrid. would end up looking like paul whitehouse in teh insurance comercial

stanausauruswrecks · 09/09/2009 13:03

I get what you're saying - he's intelligent and very funny. But in all honesty could you imagine him talking dirty, with that nasally voice...

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 09/09/2009 13:05

i don't know how anyone who has seen peep show could fancy him. genius show but really..

pofacedandproud · 09/09/2009 13:06

His brain is wasted on that body.

piprabbit · 09/09/2009 13:06

Good grief, if I'd realised there was this much competition I'd have taken drastic action to get my mitts on Mr. Mitchell sooner .

Stephen Fry, on the other hand, is lovely but too much of a uncle to be fanciable.

GoldenSunset · 09/09/2009 13:06

I need Russel Brand 'push me against the wall' roughness with David Mitchells wit and intelligence. And the looks of George Clooney - too much to ask?

pofacedandproud · 09/09/2009 13:09

no, you all just need someone beautiful and FOREIGN. That way you can have great sex and imagine they are sensitive/clever/funny/give a fuck because you can't understand a bloody word they're saying. Trust me.

milknosugarplease · 09/09/2009 13:11

Goldensunset...if they ever invent a "pick the perfect bloke machine" i'll go halves with ya!

but hugh laurie's complete "i'm a hard faced barstad that doesnt car, until you see a flicker of it in my eyes"look, is just perrfect!!!!
the sexual tension between house and cuddy is outrageous!

goes of to watch House dvd's

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 09/09/2009 13:12

i want house dvds!!!!

Prunerz · 09/09/2009 13:12

I thought he was gay.

I read the article and saw him on Jonathan Ross some weeks ago and my first thought was: STOP talking about how you don't do dating and don't have sex or whatever it is, it is nobody's business. He seems very uncomfortable in his skin.

piprabbit · 09/09/2009 13:16

Russell Brand just looks a bit sticky and like you could smell him from afar (and not in a good way) - boak.

milknosugarplease · 09/09/2009 13:17

hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1;-1&sku=846630

but you can get them cheaper if you buy them individually, series wise i mean

good god i love him!

how old is he?

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 09/09/2009 13:17

old enough!

preciouslillywhite · 09/09/2009 13:20

Is it me, or is there one of these "I fancy David Mitchell" threads every couple of months??

...how come I never see owt on here about his criminally overlooked comedy partner Robert Webb??

I'm convinced he's a lovely boy. He has a very nice voice, he's smiley, bet would be very polite to your mum. Also he looks like he'd be a teeeeeeny bit dirty....

MagNacarta · 09/09/2009 13:23

Hmm, I get your point - if David Mitchell did push you up against a wall, he'd apologise after. I'm with you GoldenSunset you have described the perfect man. Poor sods though, they can't win really can they.

Prunerz · 09/09/2009 13:26

I quite fancy Robert Webb. But his baby teeth kind of put me off.
What was that film where he did the nudist wedding?

I heartily enjoyed him on Jonathan Ross, calling BB a tawdry piece of shit, to Davina's annoyance

milknosugarplease · 09/09/2009 13:59

he was 50 this year!

im 21

29 year gap is pretty much nothing!

and his birthday is 3 days before mine

we're MADE for each other!!

AramintaCane · 09/09/2009 13:59

David mitchel is cute.

Stephen Fry is yummy.

Russel brand looks like struwwel peter and gives me nightmares.
