I have been brainwashed by these crazy songs and if I am found singing "We're trugging along, we dont know where we're going..." once more I will be committed!!!!
The same goes for "Na na na na na- Space Pirates"

Does any one else experience this or is it just me?

Even before having children I would have Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer stuck in my head thanks to having to listen to it on the "Kids TV Themes" CD that we used to play at work, not the best thing when Im childless and sat down the pub subconsciously singing Fireman Sam. Got many a strange look.
Right now its the Goodbye song from Bear in the big blue house, not that my son or I have seen any episodes we just happened upon a musical book in a charity shop and its now his favouritest book ever and it must be sung to him every night, I still wonder if im singing it correctly!

"B-O-O-T-S, boots! I stoooomp around in my red boots!" Any Laurie Berkner fans?

ElieRM · 03/09/2009 17:39

I like the Fireman Sam one, coz it's kinda rocky...
And I have no excuse, because DD is 12 weeks old and responds in the same way to Cbeebies as she does to Ashes to Ashes, Jeremy Kyle and This Morning.

Ie with unabashed glee that all the tiny people in the box are speaking solely to her.

CatIsSleepy · 03/09/2009 17:51

ok will confess to quite enjoying the theme tunes to chuggington and space pirates

and i love the way that chris on doodle-do sings that bit towards the end of the show

am quite pleased to have forgotten how the summer song goes though (pleeeease no-one remind me)

Hi CheerfulYank - yup we're all signed up to the Laurie Berkener fan club here. We Are The Dinosaurs and B-o-o-t-s are on constant rotation in my head. But at least they're well written, well played FUN songs!
We were brainwashed introduced by my sister who lives in the states. Don't think Laurie Berkner's well known in the UK at all... or am I about to stand corrected?

I was in the supermarket the other day (without children) and heard a dad singing the Peppa Pig big balloon song to their toddler. I joined in without a thought.

sweetnitanitro · 03/09/2009 17:58

The theme to Yoko Jakamoko Toto is stuck in my head most days, also the Chuggington one but I need to remind myself daily that it is not called Chuffington.

twirlymum · 03/09/2009 18:15

Humf is great. Loved the Kipper theme when DD was small. They should repeat those, Martin Clunes voice is very calming...

dawntigga · 03/09/2009 19:07

Childrens songs in general if you ask me.

The Dingle Dangle Scarecrow is in severe need of an ASBO.

And the depot manager of the driver on the Wheels on the Bus has never heard of the EU working time directorate

UnquietDad · 04/09/2009 13:05

I thought that was a good advert in its cheesy way! I was amazed it lost!
