I have been brainwashed by these crazy songs and if I am found singing "We're trugging along, we dont know where we're going..." once more I will be committed!!!!
The same goes for "Na na na na na- Space Pirates"

Does any one else experience this or is it just me?

crankytwanky · 01/09/2009 22:00

What's your fave, Crumpet?

I like the cake one and the Spooky song!

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 01/09/2009 22:02

We sing "
were gonna do it were gonna do it
were gonna beat the job before the chime
were gonna doit were gonna do it
were gonna do the job on time

like a busy bee were gonna beat that gong were gonna finish the job before we finish this song.....

over and over whilst tidying bedrooms, getting shoes on.. etc {aarrrrggghhh}

oneopinionatedmother · 01/09/2009 22:08

'yes my name is igglepiiiiiiggle'

UnquietDad · 01/09/2009 22:09

Is Chris still on CBeebies? I remember him doing it when DD was a baby - 9 years ago!!

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 22:13

fraggletits...

At times of happiness, I will still spontaneously start singing the theme to fraggle rock...

This stuff stays with you!

yummycrumpet · 01/09/2009 22:15

crankytwanky- the spooky song is a good one but nothing beats "You are a pirate!" If you search for it on youtube you get some hilarious versions, well worth a look if you have a few minutes!

the worst ones are the ones that only appear in a single episode and yet still stick in your head

Somethign Special's 'people who help us' episode - 'who makes us better every day? it' s a nurse!...'

weegiemum · 01/09/2009 22:21

I spent about 3 years of my life with the "Tikkabilla Jive" in my head and reading this tonight has put it back in there ....

aaaaaaargggghhhh!

Snowtiger · 02/09/2009 19:53

This is so reassuring, reading all of these posts - can you imagine how many of us there are going about our daily business, on an average day, singing something from Cbeebies in our heads while we do it? Truly frightening.
Can't remember who posted about Ben and Small but yes, I'd happily pay to see them tortured, they do my effing head in.
Don't you ever think, though, that there are some Cbeebies presenters (Sid & Andy spring to mind) who clearly have a laugh and love their job, while others are so obviously frustrated Actors with pretensions towards the RSC, whose careers have hit the buffers. I often wonder which ones of them cry themselves to sleep at night, and I'm pretty sure Big Cook Ben is high on the list.
Am I a really horrible person for admitting that? Sorry...

crankytwanky · 02/09/2009 21:06

Mrs Crumpet, I've just wasted spent an hour looking at youtube! I can particularly recomend Techno Viking!

PiggyPenguin · 02/09/2009 21:12

I LOVE the third and bird songs! Definitely the best ones on kids tv. Nina and the Neurons is crap though.

Triggles · 02/09/2009 22:49

DH routinely comes home from work embarrassed that someone has heard him singing either a Wiggles song or something from Wonderpets.

Lemonylemon · 03/09/2009 11:47

what happened to Third & Bird? I The kids used to love watching it on Bedtime Hour. The baby and I sing Olivia quite often... God, I'm sad....

twirlymum · 03/09/2009 11:55

Wonderpets all the way. Also Maggie and the Ferocious Beast in nowhere land, in nowhere land.........

petnik · 03/09/2009 12:05

Asleeeep.

Horton · 03/09/2009 12:46

We sing the Wonderpets tune all the time. If you see anyone in Sainsburys singing 'What's going to work? Teamwork!' with a three year old joining in enthusiastically, it might be me.

jumpyjan · 03/09/2009 12:48

No its not just you. When I had pregnancy insomnia I lay in bed at night with 'absolutely positonney zim zamm zoom pinky dinky doo' in my head. It was stuck in my head for days. Agree munch munch munch its time for lunch is much the same!

CMOTdibbler · 03/09/2009 12:56

Dh let DS watch Disney Clubhouse at the weekend when I was away. Therefore the Hot dog song has inhabited our house gahhhh

We sing the Beat the clock song lots too

melmog · 03/09/2009 13:01

Oooh, I loved third and bird. I once joined the cbeebies forum just to post about some rude lyrics on one particular episode. Three other people heard it too and commented and I got an email from cbeebies saying my comment had been deleted as it was too rude!
I got my coat and left.

The theme from Balamory was going round and round my head during labour and I was using it to control my breathing:

Breathe in... 'whats the story'
Breathe out...'Balmamory'
Breathe in... 'wouldn't you like to'
Breathe out...'knooooow'!!

melmog · 03/09/2009 13:03

Oh, and I got caught in sports soccer singing wow wow wubbzy to make the dd's laugh.
Aaaah, the shame.
