It should not be removed just because the OP has a strop that she made herself look silly and did not like the answers given??????

I think that it was a painful lesson in Think Before You Start a Thread (and basically AIBU is only really suitable for comedy rants or philosophical - type discussions)

Unless you are prepared to be disagreed with

But she wasn't being 'described as a bunny boiler' - I simply asked what her last text was to stop the boy texting back, and asked if it could have been construed as a bit bunny-boilerish which I'm afraid is common language for coming on too strong.

The thing I was trying to get across is that we've all been there - she's only 19 and it took me til I was 34 to be ready enough to have a decent relationship when I met my husband and not handle it badly or play stupid games. The fact is that she's may well have a lot of mistakes to make before she handles things right, if she's anything like 90% of young women.

I still don't think that thread justified being removed but I'm sure others will disagree - the whole point of MN AIBU threads after all.

Oh, I agree, FedUp. I thought the language on the thread was pretty reasonable.

I just meant OP was too emotional to be able to take objective opinions, and that in that state, AIBU is not the right thread
