I won't spoil your cozy little happy thread by telling you what mooncups are truly capable of....

Mwah ha ha ha

Ps. Anyone want mine? One careful owner

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:39

ladies, i think suwoo did have some existing issues, please don't dismiss the mooncup, it's a brilliant product.

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:44

Suwoo has lots of ishoos! Seriously, aitch is right, I do have gynae issues and the mooncup wasn't right for me. However, please do ensure you have released the suction when you remove it.

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:45

GOD, yea. i can't imagine not doing. eeeeeek.

MotherPi · 23/07/2009 22:46

Er

prettyfly1 · 23/07/2009 22:47

are we talking like interesting effect suction or like involuntary bowel resection suction? My sister is dead set on trying one of these so its purely research you see (i am pg so have delightfully little need for anything right now other then a future reminder for stronger contraceptives )

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:48

schlluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:49

this is making it sound gross. it's a fantastic thing, changed my life.

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:50

Just read the thread, it's quite clear what happened to me when I removed it in a hurry.

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:53

No it is great, I stand by that and agree entirely with aitch. Mine just had ulterior motives

electra · 23/07/2009 22:54

I tried a moon cup but never got on with it - it hurts when I put it in - despite having had 2 vaginal deliveries then (now 3) and using the one for women who haven't had children! Don't know what's wrong with me.....

MotherPi · 23/07/2009 22:55

Jesus Christ, that happened just because you didn't release the seal??

suwoo · 23/07/2009 23:02

Well I suppose there is the possibility that I grabbed the strings when squeezing the mooncup together, I'm not really sure. Either way, dc3 is the result

weegiemum · 23/07/2009 23:05

While on the topic of misplaced coils, do get yours checked after having a smear. My practice nurse managed to pull mine down into my cervix (I didn't notice) but pulling the strings and 6 weeks later I was pg with dd2.
