Well

OP posts:
Morloth · 23/07/2009 21:01

I like the Always Silk ones, only ones I have found here that don't cause a reaction.

I had a SHOCKING (yes caps and bold) allergic reaction to the Mooncup.

Goober · 23/07/2009 21:04

I noticed this too and laughed!
No frigging period is happy! Tossers! Apart from day 6, when I'm kinda happy that it's almost over.

Goober · 23/07/2009 21:05

And sod off with your bloody mooncups! Unless they make them in Flood size, do they?

suwoo · 23/07/2009 21:05

I wish I could use my mooncup again.

Unfortunately due to my third degree prolapse getting in the way, it sucked out my coil and I found myself up the duff.

True story.

roneef · 23/07/2009 21:09

oh my fucking god suwoo.

I feel faint.

Is it like a plunger??

suwoo · 23/07/2009 21:19

Fucking Dyson, mate.

{grin]

suwoo · 23/07/2009 21:19
Grin
AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 21:19

lol. and er, congratulations. will you be contacting a lawyer?

suwoo · 23/07/2009 21:22

Nope, I'll just use it to hoover the stairs from now on.

DC3 will be joining us in 7 days.

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 21:24

were you perhaps stuffing a vacuum cleaner up there? that would account for the mishap. the mooncup is more of a cup than a dyson. i think you've made a grave error at some point...

suwoo · 23/07/2009 21:29

here is the thread when I sucked the fucker out.

I still can't believe that 6 weeks later, I was pregnant

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 21:32

gosh. you were brave. now i'm wondering if i had cervical shock once as well. i'm off to google.

Hollyoaks · 23/07/2009 21:38

Whats with the white trousers anyway?????????????? I wouldnt dare attempt it on the first three days, even with a tampon and towel!!!! Especially not since having dd.

Hollyoaks · 23/07/2009 21:40

OMG totally missed Suwoo's comment, I'll stick with the Always!

PixiNanny · 23/07/2009 21:50

I loved that letter, read it a few weeks ago, it's fantastic

I use towels more often then not, been meaning to get a mooncup for ages just to see what it's about but I haven't got around to it yet, I always remember about it when I'm skint rolls eyes Remind me on Monday when my boss pays me and I'll buy one haha

DottyDot · 23/07/2009 21:56

Always are wonderful andI won't have a word said aganst them!

I was a tampon user for years and hated them. Always 'night' pads are bloody brilliant (excuse the pun) and I'm never changing back to tampons, or, heaven forbid, attempting mooncup useage (shudder).

MotherPi · 23/07/2009 22:09

Bought a mooncup today !

Although am feeling quite faint after reading suwoo's post...

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:11

VERY good work, motherpi. and you know i'm a wise woman. thank you.

give strong consideration to cutting off the spike.

yeah.

i said SPIKE.

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:14

I have extenuating circumstances though .

Just be careful that you release the suction properly before removal.

MotherPi · 23/07/2009 22:17

SPIKE???

Am bizarrely excited about giving it a go

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:19

Stem. I cut mine right off and then kind of filed it down to make sure non at all was left.

AitchTwoOh · 23/07/2009 22:21

eva

suwoo · 23/07/2009 22:23

Ok, it feels like a spike when up fanjo.

Shut up Aitch or I will tell all my horror stories, the suction one was only the worst.

prettyfly1 · 23/07/2009 22:31
