Everyone I have told has looked really worried.

I had my hair done because I wanted it to look the way it did when just cut, rather than when I'd washed and dried it - it's rubbish hair, but always looks a bit better 'straight out of the salon'. Didn't occur to me to get someone to do my makeup ... as it was, I had a great excuse to buy some really nice new makeup, much better use of money than getting someone else to slap stuff on.
