morning slayers, any good kills since yesterday?

I am wondering whether to offer my services to other slayers. If you are the last poster and feeling a little exposed, I will go and post afterwards....
Obviously there will be a fee involved, gin probably, maybe even an advertising campaign

'if you left dangling and exposed....

by the way am changing my name - have been very impressed with lots I have seen on here and feel my own is a little lacklustre, I shall be know from hereonin as 'sarfeasticated'

SarfEasticated · 29/07/2009 10:51

there

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 13:06

Morning SarfEasticated, bit of a mouthful that one not like my short and sweet name

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 13:09

Moring sarf. Whereabouts in the sarfeast are you?

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 13:09

First of all I spell morning wrong, and then it isn't morning afterall. Oh dear.

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 13:23

Afternoon Chilli and how are we today? In fine fettle?

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 13:26

2/22 FGS!

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 13:34

Yes indeed. Just sorting out my MN bookclub for the monthly swap. I should have done it at the weekend really but didn't get a chance.
How are you? Looks like you need to get slaying!

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 13:34

Mind you, I'm only 9/26

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 13:37

I am being grumpy about weather .

just a day or two of sun would help

I have lost my slaying touch, I think I may have to go for counselling.

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 14:06

Miserable weather is the perfect excuse to stay inside and slay, slay, slay

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 14:28

I have an irresistable urge to hijack a load of posts and just be really flippant or contrary (i like that word, I say it to my DS1 all the time!) AIBU?

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 14:32

YANBU! Go for it be brave

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 14:33

Are you just trying to get me in trouble

TheChilliMooseisinthehoose · 29/07/2009 14:34

No, I just wish I had the guts to do it.

MoontheMightyThreadKiller · 29/07/2009 14:44

Me too!

I did it once but everyone took it really seriously and accused me of laughing at someone elses problems I had to back peddle big style as I didn't mean that at all. To be truthful I hadn't read the whole thread and it had got quite heavy on the next few pages so perhaps it was slightly inappropriate!

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 29/07/2009 14:45

I do get worried about people having a go at me so I tend to not really put my opinions across much. I suspect many people feel that way on here.

SarfEasticated · 29/07/2009 15:53

Hello fellow slayers, i try to avoid the really contentious threads as i find that comments get very over analysed and then ripped to shreds! Name threads are deadly!

You gotta remember though Chilli that they don't actually know you, so they don't know what you're like. And don't worry, if anyone picks on you you have us now. (unless of course you end up being a phsycho!)

I'm in London by the way

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 29/07/2009 15:58

I find the name threads are ok. I have killed a few of them in my time. They are the only ones where I will actually say what I think, albeit cautiously.
I'm glad I have you lot now I like to think that you will all stand by me when you realise I am if I happen to turn into a psycho.
I'm from London originally, but now live in Leeds. Whereabouts in London are you, Sarf?

SarfEasticated · 29/07/2009 16:01

Do you really? How brave, have you ever said that you thought a name was chavvy? i saw that some brave soul did that, made me wince...

You've moved 'up north'? How long have you been there for? I live in Lewisham (or the mighty 'sham as I like to call it)

MoonIsATiredSlayer · 29/07/2009 16:05

We truely are home girls I too is a Londoner!! Married to a Yorkshire man but living in Bucks (as close to London as he will let me get!)

Can you come on my I hate sainsburys thread in food as all the I can cook ten meals for less than two pounds lot are being a bit snurky.

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 29/07/2009 16:05

No, I don't tend to use the word chavvy. I just say if I don't like the name and why.

I know Lewisham. I once (very briefly) lived with a guy in Ladywell, and I lived in Eltham too.

We've been up here for a few years now. We're thinking of going back, though, but I fear that we cannot afford it.

SarfEasticated · 29/07/2009 16:11

to 'food' away!
