To wonder what Liz Jones can possibly be thinking

writing about her obsession with a married man who is presumably pretty identifiable to his friends and neighbours.
I kind of hoped she was fictionalising it, but I suspect she is not.

Rofl You should put that on the 'Famous people you thought were one and the same person' thread!

it really is car-crash journalism isn't it?

i read it at my mum's on a sunday and sometimes I just can't een bear to do more than skim,

she's such a sad, stupid woman! i mean, she has wasted so much of her life and lost out on anything she might have wanted.
she made this huge thing of how she wanted a child, but when it didn't happen she starts writging vitriolic columns about women who have kids taking advantage and all that kind of crap.

i feel very sorry for her. she still seems to think that throwing money at people will make them like her.
she needs serious help

That's just sad really. I bet the man in question just feels repulsed by the attention (should he be aware of it). Perhaps that's why she feels she can write about it. I don't suppose she has any intention of acting on her impulse - she'll probably just buy some more hideously overpriced designer rubbish instead (and then brag about it).

I think using "Liz Jones" and "thinking" in the same sentence is your first mistake.
