Is it all his fault his MPs are a bunch of lying twats?

and i find him strangely attractive as well.

YANBU. I truly believe he's doing the best he can for the country. The global recession wasn't his fault but of course he gets the blame. I think he's doing a pretty good job of steering us through it.
On attractiveness, I've met him in real life and he was a bit grey and old-mannish. And Sarah Brown is a but of a misery.

Concordia · 04/06/2009 22:38

YABU
He didn't save when times were good (as Chancllor)
he's screwed all our pensions
He took money from the poor for political gain in the 10p tax thing
ok he's less smarmy than Blair but probably just as dishonest, perhaps not personally in a kind of Hazel Blears expenses way, but in a manipulative power grabbing way that treats the rest of us as fools. The government are showing they have no respect for those they govern and he is the head of it.
I don't fancy him either.
And i'd say all that to his face too.
His wife seems nice though, a human being. I'm sure he's good to his kids etc etc.

EccentricaGallumbits · 04/06/2009 22:39

But he has that look about him that says he'd be great at cunnilingus. He really does.

Oh now you're getting really weird Is it his flappy mouth?

Rindercella · 04/06/2009 22:41

YABU. Gordon should have been very careful what he wished for...now all his nightmares are coming true. He bullied his way into being PM; seemed to actually believe it was his given right. It wasn't. He is still feted as being a good Chancellor. He wasn't. He had a great big hand in the mess we're in now - he sold off our gold reserves here, and failed to manage our economy - which was his job to do.

Nope, don't feel sorry for him in the least. I wish though that one of the other parties could come forward and shine in Labour's misery. One would think that in all this mess, it would be an easy thing to do. However, Tories, LibDems, et al., have still to show how they could deliver any better to the British public.

fondant4000 · 04/06/2009 22:41

EG - Then how come S Brown is so miserable

TheCrackFox · 04/06/2009 22:42

He does not look like he would be goof at cunnilingus - he looks fr to slobbery. Plus half way through he would do that weird jaw clicky thing. [Boak emoticon]

He has been a crap PM and he needs to go just for his own sanity and ours.

Rindercella · 04/06/2009 22:42

Ewwww!!! Eccentrica!!!

EccentricaGallumbits · 04/06/2009 22:42

she's not miserable, just remembering really hard what fun they had last night.

francagoestohollywood · 04/06/2009 22:43

I don't find him attractive, but I like GB.

whistlejacket · 04/06/2009 22:43

Ugh EccentricaGallumbits that's all wrong [vomit emoticon]. He's Presbyterian, do they do things like that?

LyraSilvertongue · 04/06/2009 22:44

Gordon Brown and cunnilingus do not belong in the same sentence.

EccentricaGallumbits · 04/06/2009 22:46

But you know that next time you are watchig the news and he pops up you are all ging to be wondering what it would be like aren't you?

OP posts:
Upwind · 04/06/2009 22:48

YABU ugghh

his fault he was so extraordinarily incompetent and reckless in his decade as Chancellor

his fault the country is so especially screwed now

whistlejacket · 04/06/2009 22:50

Yes when he pops up on the telly and I start thinking that I'm going to have to imagine it's David Miliband instead (still rank, but if we have to pick a vaguely shaggable member of the cabinet).

EccentricaGallumbits · 04/06/2009 22:50

you know you want to.

Milliband yeuch.

pointydog · 04/06/2009 22:55

yeah I feel a bit sorry for him. He's a good guy, he's not a wanker.

But such is the power of image and the media.

TheCrackFox · 04/06/2009 22:55

vaguely shaggable and David Milliband do not belong in the same sentence.

onebatmother · 04/06/2009 22:59

Who (from the roster of people who really exist right now, not imaginary friends leaders), could be guaranteed to do better? Just voted Labour.

any attempt to individualize this is reactionary imo. Do you believe in the policies of Labour, Conservatives, or LibDems? That is the only valid grounds on which to base your decision. All else is the politics of distraction.

onebatmother · 04/06/2009 23:01

Sorry just realized this was a thread about GB's tongue

Caitni · 04/06/2009 23:27

YANBU

He's a man of integrity, with the means to get us out of this mess. Surrounded by MPs caught up in a Westminster Village atmosphere where everyone was on the expenses fiddle. Good riddance to Blears - awful politician.

Brown's personal qualities are much more attractive to me - I hated Blair, and all that toothy hypocrisy. I hate Cameron - elitist posho who represents all that's wrong with the class system in the UK (I loved when Obama met him and was called him a lightweight). Clegg is actually interesting, but woefully unmemorable...if only Vince Cable could be in cabinet .

Also think he's stragely attractive . I know people who worked at the Treasury with him and say he's charming and charismatic when you know him (type of person who remembers the names of lowly civil servants - a trait I like).

KathyBrown · 04/06/2009 23:27

I doubt he feels sorry for you as he squeezes extra pennies out of you to pay for his fuck ups as chancellor, he won't feel sorry for any of the MP's he throws to the lions to deflect from the deeper problems and frankly he will go down in history as the worse PM Britain ever had.
So that's a no from me.

EyeballshasBackBoobs · 04/06/2009 23:29

So what is it you find attractive??
