I'm so upset for her. I hope this experience can still change her life for the better.

considering the best act won, I think yabu, lol...

als, tbh, I tink it was the previous media coverage that got her into the final in the first place, because her semi final performance was not that brilliant....
but last night she did sing lovely again....but, diversity were the best act...simple....

I think Diversity were the best act. The choreography was inspired.
Susan Boyle ended up looking like a 1 song pony after her semi performance. Hopefully Simon C or someone will find an album full of songs she can sing. Memories was too high for her.

you are being reasonable to feel a little bit sad for her- but tears? err, no. Get a grip woman.

Nancy66 · 31/05/2009 16:44

she looked drugged to me - i wonder if she was on tranquilisers? Mind you looked like they were wearing off at the end when she started flashing her thighs - And n Dec couldn't get her off stage quick enough

mears · 31/05/2009 22:08

I saw the leg flashing and thought OMG..

Ronaldinhio · 31/05/2009 22:10

yabu

but i think that she is a little strange

Thunderduck · 31/05/2009 22:10

I was so pleased that Diversity won. I don't mind Susan but they really did deserve to win.

I want to adopt Perri and the other boy, what's his name? They are so cute and talented.

maria1665 · 31/05/2009 22:20

I don't follow the programme but I have been following the Susan Boyle story.

I didn't realise until Kate Aidie raised it on the radio today that she has learning difficulties. It perhaps explains some of her behaviour.

I think its fantastic that she did so well, and that she moved so many people. You are not being unreasonable.

Onestonetogo · 31/05/2009 22:44

YANBU, she should've won it. She deserves the money and the comfort this can bring her. She suffered lack of oxygen during childbirth, so has learning disabilities and spent her life looking after her (now dead mother), cleaning and cooking for all her family members. She sacrificed her own life and now it's her time to make up for all the missed opportinities. I'll be buying her CD.

MaryHuff · 01/06/2009 09:05

That's if she ever makes a CD - she's been admitted to the Priory and looks like she may get sectioned

NormaSknockers · 01/06/2009 09:09

I think she looked relieved when she didn't win. She looked terrified when they called her name & the smile on her face when Diversity won was genuine.

howtotellmum · 01/06/2009 09:11

There are learning diffs and learning diffs....

She could be dyslexic, or have Aspergers, or anything- all are LD- it doesn't mean she is dim. I think people who spout "learning diffs" should be more specific. When you see or hear SB interviewed in the comfort of her own home, she sounds very together and intelligent.
