3yo & 6yo out from 4pm - still out now bouncing on trampoline, playing in their front garden. Their Dad is occassionally popping out to shout that they get away from the shed

Their number is 0800 555 111

Does the trampoline have a safety net around it? I wouldn't be keen on kids of any age on a trampoline without, supervised or unsupervised.

MorningTownRide · 22/05/2009 12:32

Sing to tune of Spiderman:

Judgey pants,
Judgey pants,
You are wearing your judgey pants,
Take them off
They smell like wee,
Look out, it's judgey pants.

DD (4) and ds (2) play in our garden unsupervised AND with nobody watching.

They stayed up 'til 8pm last night cos well, they are not sleeping at the moment.

They don't have a bath every night either.

Ummmmm...that's that really

Sassybeast · 22/05/2009 12:38

Further drip feeding - Waah Waaah agree with me cos he's a jailbird

MillyR · 22/05/2009 13:00

I really want to buy my children a trampoline now! This thread has made it sound like great fun.

bronze · 22/05/2009 13:39

They are fantastic. Keep the children in one place while they have what they think is fun and you think is excercise.

How do you know he keeps it under the shed anyway?

I tell mine to keep away from the shed (occasionally from inside the house) as there are tools and weedkiller etc in there

Ripeberry · 22/05/2009 14:32

I love the trampoline myself, If the kids are not using it and its nice and sunny its a great place to have a lie-down in the sun!
Oh Dear i sound really lazy now as well

Spaceman · 22/05/2009 14:40

Are you sure the parents weren't watching from inside the house? My 1 year old 'escaped' out the back yesterday. To anyone looking over the fence it would've looked as if I didn't know this and had my feet up watching TV unawares. He was out there on his own sitting on the lawn for about 15 minutes before coming in again on his own but I was watching him all the time while making the tea. Would've given the neighbours a seizure I reckon if they could have seen it; especially as he waddled his little backside in all on his tod!

GypsyMoth · 22/05/2009 14:46

oh spaceman, bless him!! that sounds so cute!

my 14 month old was out with dd2 age 12 on his reins last night...till,er,gone 7! he hasn't been sleeping well so had an extra nap in the day,and so,wouldn't go down for normal time....you know how it is when their routine gets a bit squished wonder what my neighbours thought? probably not alot as all the kids were out....all had school today also.....oh well.

katiestar · 22/05/2009 14:48

if the parents are smackheads , I think their kids bouncing on a trampoline would be the least of my worries.

Spaceman · 22/05/2009 14:57

Yes, was cute! Especially as he thought he was getting away with escaping. He had that determined look on his face like he was taking no prisoners.

I have to say if it's a nice evening and the kids are happy then I'll let them stay outside enjoying themselves in the sunshine rather than send them to bed. Even up to around 9; if they don't have to get up the next day. It's an excepion rather than the rule!
