was in the park opposite my house today-woman who i know but isn't a friend was there with her 2 boys-one's in first year secondary school and the other one is at least 5 (and to my knowledge doesn't have any special needs/mitigating circs) anyway-she's sat at the table with the papers and i stopped to say 'hi lovely weather etc etc' when her little boy (the one who is at least 5) comes up and says 'mummy,i need a poo' so-without further a do she says 'ok,we'll never get home in time so shall we find a bush and do it there?' and grabs a packet of handwipes from her bag (presumably to wipe his arse) i was fucking gobsmacked and trying to think of something to say when this bloke (who neither of us knew) and was sat giving his baby a bottle at the same table bit says 'i think there's a toilet in the shopping centre just over the road' to which she got all weird and said 'come on louis-we'll have to rush home-i hope we're there in time' and sort of flounced.
i was relieved the other guy said something but on what planet is shitting in a park ok?

lol this is the first time I have been on MN for weeks and weeks - I knew there would be a thread like this to wean me back in

No, a 5 year old shouldn't have to shit in a park. They can hold it in for a bit at that age.

MarmadukeScarlet · 20/04/2009 12:57

LOL @ sprogger shh don't spread it around

pooing or weeing behind a busgh or similar is not the end of the world and in some ways could be classed as quite normal

Sassybeast · 20/04/2009 13:04

Sprogger I would hope it's so diluted that I won't end up spreading my picnic blanket on it. Cheese sarnie with a splash of human piddle on the side anyone ? {Vomiting smilie}
