To have my Nipple pierced?

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 01/04/2009 16:54

Because I am stressed and don't have enough hair to have a stressy hair cut. And I already have tattoes, and other piercings........

Will be back in a bit.

My only reason not to is since I lost weight I like to wear fitted tops and it will draw attention to them. But would a good bra hide it?

Yay enjoy.

AFecker - a labret is a small metal bar usually used for eyebrows/lip/monroe piercing
with a flat or jewelled end.

Mine are flat may explain why one worked it's way out! Also a bugger to bf with.

AnyFuckerStealsHerKidsEggs · 02/04/2009 21:28

monroe piercing ?

I am getting an education here !

jofeb04 · 02/04/2009 21:37

To Op: Go for it!

I'm having my tounge done towards the end of this month, and having another scaffold piercing done as well (also getting two tattoos!).

AnyFuckerStealsHerKidsEggs · 02/04/2009 21:39

scaffold?

this is a new language to me

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 02/04/2009 21:44

Afucker....they are still pert, pink and pretty but now I can adorn one with something sparkly lol

do it if you want to!!! I haven't got my nipples done and to be honest don't think i would but had my lip done years ago...course baby has just started to pull it...hmmmm hope i won't have to take it out!! my friend had her nipples done, but took them out to b/feed and also had her clit done, when she had her first baby had to get her b/friend to take it out after labour started coz she thought they wouldn't like it at the hospital!!! But i think she may have left it in for second....

jofeb04 · 02/04/2009 21:48

Lol AF, Scaffold piercing is an ear piercing which has one hole on one side and another hold diagnolly accross on the other side (at the top of the ear). One bar through the two holes.

I've got the one, thinking of having it done again (so the two long bars will cross)

jofeb04 · 02/04/2009 21:49

Lol @ something sparkly

AnyFuckerStealsHerKidsEggs · 02/04/2009 22:01

monroe ?

Leni75 · 02/04/2009 22:14

yeah like marilyn monroes beauty spot

wickedwitchofwestfield · 02/04/2009 22:19

I had a hood piercing that migrated out can you believe!! mortified lol

I have the back of my neck pierced atm, am debating getting it done again

Mspontipine · 02/04/2009 22:23

It really hurt me when I had it done - out of all of mine ( and beleive me I had a few ) my nipple was the very worst - it hurt me to my real real core like being punched so so hard in my very being. I think my body went into a bit of shock over it - and took me and my body forever to recover from the experience.

Looked fab tho and was ds's favourite boob too!

jofeb04 · 02/04/2009 22:28

WWW, I've always fancied that but as my eyebrow isn't healing that well I'm a bit nervous of it migrating.

Does your hair get caught in it?

jofeb04 · 02/04/2009 22:28

@ back of neck, not clit!

wickedwitchofwestfield · 02/04/2009 22:35

LMAO!

I did wonder, it was the hair bit that threw me

I've had mine in for about 4 years now, hasn't grown out at all, but I had an accident about 13 years ago which left me unable to feel anything in my neck so its almost like my neck isn't registering it as a foreign object, hence it hasn't grown iyswim? I've heard a lot of them migrate, but your best chance is to have it done with the PTFE as opposed to the titanium which makes healing a lot better

my hair hasn't ever got caught on it, but its quite funny when hairdressers stumble upon it, it stresses them out a bit lol.

steviesgirl · 02/04/2009 22:39

Gross, gross , gross!!! But whatever floats your boat I guess. I'm just not into body piercings and tatoos. Self defacing imo. What you do with your own body, however, is entirely up to you. You have to live with it.

RockinSockBunnies · 02/04/2009 22:45

Definitely! I had mine done years ago when I was 15. It was the least painful piercing that I've ever had. It healed up virtually overnight, never had any pain, never any problems with it and it looked AMAZING .

Mind you, in those days I had small, very perky breasts, and the ring (on my left nipple) complemented my breast beautifully.

I took the piercing out three years later when I became pregnant and breastfeeding. Absolutely no problems breastfeeding - left breast was super boob in terms of milk production.

I have a teeny little scar where the piercing was - I fed DD for 2.5 years and didn't get it re-done as my breasts, alas, are no longer as perky as they used to be .

But go for it!

wickedwitchofwestfield · 02/04/2009 22:45

actually, you don't have to live with a piercing, it can be easily taken out

Mspontipine · 02/04/2009 23:01

Gracious - anyone up for a link???

NOT FOR THE FEINT HEARTED

Here

MANATEEequineOHARA · 02/04/2009 23:05

In saying not for the faint hearted I assume you are referring to the hideous fake boobs!? (Not that I am against the idea of plastic surgery, just the type when it looks like they have been stuck on!)

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 03/04/2009 10:22

Sore this morning but still grinning from ear to ear, navel is fine and has cheered me up consiserably, AND I had cake lol.

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 03/04/2009 11:49

so general consensus is that nipple piercing actualy improved bf-ing as opposed to prevents it? cool

MW, you got your navel done instead? ouch... that was my worst ever piercing.... my enire stomach was in agony for day, the my idiot friend punched me in the stomach 2 weeks later and it goty infected and migrated most of the way out, been hanging by a thread of sking for years... want to get it repierced behind it but really don't want that pain again!
