To have my Nipple pierced?

Because I am stressed and don't have enough hair to have a stressy hair cut. And I already have tattoes, and other piercings........

My only reason not to is since I lost weight I like to wear fitted tops and it will draw attention to them. But would a good bra hide it?

A couple of people have nearly answered this, but I'm still not sure... If you have your nipples pierced, and the piercing is well established, can you take them out for a bit and not lose the piercing, like with earlobes?

OP, are you like my friend that finds the pain of tatoos/piercings relaxing? I don't really get it myself, but if it makes you feel better/less stressed. . .

I've thought about tatoos before, but just can't imagine anything looking right when I'm 70.

As for being able to see it through your bra/clothes...it'll depend what you put in I imagine...go for something small and discreet not a big nut and bolt affair

anyway, nipple piercings are awesome, I have both done and have had them for the last 5 years.

it doesn't hurt half as much as you'd think and mine healed really well and def do not poke out of my bra, non-padded or otherwise

... to be fair, I'm not a good person to ask, having had quite a few piercings and many tattoos!

I would reccomend getting it done! When I was super aggitated before the start of this year at uni the only reasonable way to deal with that was to get my lip pierced!!!

I would definately HAVE considered getting my nipple pierced pre-breastfeeding, well, maybe still would actually, I just think it looks better on small(er) boobs/nipples rather than...well...overused ones like mine!

It doesnt hurt if its done right , i've had mine done for 9 years . I think a bar is better than the ring as it caused it to be seen more . I had a baby 9 months ago and kept it in and was able to breastfeed with no problem , just toke it out and your milk keeps the area clean as well

AFecker - I don't htink it's a sexual thing - I think you are just into body m,utilation or not. Once you getone it is kinda addictive. Like plastic surgery I suppose That's next on my list - lipo LOL.

REALITYEGG - I so know what you mean - I didn't really appreciate it so much when I was foxy. I used to wear shiny PVC trousers/platforms/thigh highs etc (wistful longing emoticon) Think I'd need 8 cows worth to fit over my post baby thighs these days! Not to mention having a belly these days - the worst is back fat though - bleurgh!

In the beginning, you should go for a ring rather than a bar so you can turn & clean it. You wouldn't believe the gunk that will need to be cleaned repeatedly.

rings get caught in stuff and don't heal well though.... had mine done with both and the bar was the much better option for me

i hated that nipple as it was weird and oddly shaped... nice chunk of metal through it and it was much lovlier

also, was running out of face space, have 8 ear, 1 nose and a labret piercing (although the babret is really more of a lip piercing now as it's migrated upwards a bit

It's your body and if you want to do it then you should go ahead - life is too short to keep thinking "what if". Personally I wouldn't have mine done - although I think it can look good on some my personal preference is to avoid pain wherever possible. Put in simple terms - I am a wimp .

Oh Pinktulips my eyebrow one migrated out altogether, I didn't know labret's did really move, but I had a dream mine did just the other night since I put a ring in rather than a bar (and it really doesn't fit, it is just I lost the ball from the bar!). I know I am just rambling now!
This thread is making me want a nipple piercing the more I think about it! Maybe all who want one should all have it done the same day then we can all talk about it! That souns like my idea of fun

Anyfucker... for me it was just a 'pretty' thing for me as no-one can see it,plus I like the shields you can get to wear with them very nice. And yes for me it was a sexual thing as well as it makes it super duper sensitive

Ladyevnstar.. was you wamting a clitoral or hood piercing ?? I was advised havint the actual clit pierced can lead to loss of sensation so went for a hood piercing. I used to wear a ring with a little silver bell attatched

Always done things like that when I am at a low. I used to shave my head completely but would now be self conscious as people have got used to me having hair.

Also a bit of mentally sticking my fingers up at the situation I am in, and maybe a control thing. My Pa was very domineering (wouldn't let me have my hair cut until I was 18) and he is being complicated at the moment. And also a bit of 'just because'.
