As a newbie to mn and after reading through some old posts, i am quite shocked to read some m's chatting openly about there drug use...around children!! Only my opinion, but i think it is very WRONG! I know this is only a select few, but i just can't believe how 'open' they speak about smoking pot and popping pills!! I am happily married with 3 children and just think it plain wrong to let your kids see that sort of stuff. Only my opinion

Everyone knows that all people who take drugs froth at the mouth and never wash and are generally terrible people.

I don't really understand the point of these 'Don't you think XYZ makes this person a bitch of a mother?' type threads. To make the OP feel better about their own parenting? Why on earth else would you bother?

The irrelevant details are always a dead giveaway too. 'I am happily married with three kids'. Lovely story. And? Sounds like a case of smuggery to me.

valium, when prescribed by a doctor is a legitimate and legal 'drug'

i presume the OP never drinks wine, certainly not when her children are around, or has ever smoked or had a double espresso to kickstart the day.

i have seen maybe one or two threads where you could possibly thing drug use was being 'falunted', but more where the vast majority are not terribly keen on parents, not just mothers, using drugs/alcohol to the point of insensibility

there have been a few breastfeeding and drugs trheads, but not that many

certainly not enough to start a judgey AIBU thread about IMO

I've seen quite a few threads on drugs on MN. I've never seen one where people were bragging about doing drugs around their DC (as OP claims).

Do people think it's okay to pop a few pills before paying your dealer? Or is that stealing? I know technically he should weigh the whole amount, but to be honest they make so much money that surely a few pills as I'm doing my weekly score isn't going to bother anyone?
