What things irrationally wind the hell out of you?

I HATE listening to the BBC news in the morning, when the news readers say "its is EXACTLY half past six" because I always end up shouting "IT IS NOT!!" because it surely can never be EXACTLY unless they string out the sixxxxxx until it is exactly that time.

I get annoyed when people talk about the coins and say that the Queen is on the FRONT of the coin, she is on the back. Because if you were looking at all the pictures of all the coins, you'd put the Queen down to see the pics, therefore she is the back of the coin. And its only "heads and tails" because its a picture of her head.

When I'm really stroppy, I get annoyed at the Kool Kids sign near my house. If they wanted to use alliteration, use Cool Children, surely?!

So... what gets your goat for no reason

Builders telling me to 'cheer up love'. I enjoy scowling OK?

People that say "two pound" or "five pound" or however much when quite clearly it is plural therefore should be poundS!

"designer" - surely everything manufactured has been designed by someone?

trousers for little girls with writing on their bums (esp. if word is 'cheeky'...they are 6 ffs)

Mothers that have thier babies ears pierced and then say 'The younger they are the better'

Anorexics.
I feel like shaking them and saying "You're not fooling anybody, we can see that you're deluded about your body size which is unhealthily bony. Now go off and have a decent size meal."

Curious as to how you know they are anorexic - or does this only apply to your personal friends whose thinness you know the cause of?

I was anorexic for four years, and was never deluded about my body size. I wasn't trying to be thin, I just could not eat. It's comments like this that can really knock a person back.
