... you should move across to drive in the snowy bit of road and leave the clear part to the ordinary car coming towards you?

It is, after all, the one time per year that your 4x4 is actually necessary in town.

I have a "normal" car and DH often takes the piss about the speed (ie lack of slowness) I go over speedbumps.

Once I was coming out of IKEA, and got stuck for some time behind a frigging 4x4 which was doing approx 1mph over every speedbump.

Would anyone like to guess at the content of my behind-the-wheel rant?

Warthog - I am with you. We have an Amazon and consider it a REAL 4x4. (smug emoticon)
The United Nations use them FFS. They can pull anything and go anywhere plus fit the whole family in. We can't understand the little 4x4 thing like Hondas that pretend to be sturdy and useful whilst being no more than a sized up car.
