I mean REALLY!!!

What kid SAYS that?!!

What parent lets their kid go to a mate's house JUST to go to the toilet FFS!

What a ridiculous advert

I have just seen the Senakot advert where the woman pours her lunch into a handbag full of shit too

Tidey · 03/02/2009 22:33

I'd find it worrying that the child has a complex where they can only use one particular toilet, personally. And the number of times they say poo is unnecessary.

The old one with the child mournfully saying 'It's all gone' was bad enough.

YANBU - such a freaky add! Looks like one of those ads that gets rolled out/dubbed across Europe.

Just as bad as the "it's all gone! it's all gone!" advert for Glade Touch and Fresh with the little chinese boy obsessed with air freshener..

I'm wondering now. Did the kid really want to do it, did he know he'd always he the "poo at Paul's" kid?
Was the Mum really skint?
Was she pushy and getting her son into any ad, anything that's on TV?

I'm curious now. I just wonder who the boy is and who his parents are.

There was an ad on some years ago for (I think) an electrical goods shop, where a boy of about 10 grabbed his dad's arm and said 'Dad I want a wee,' and my brother and I used to say that the poor little sod who'd appeared in the ad would have a dreadful time in his teens: every time he tried to chat up a girl (or indeed a boy) his mates would all be hanging round behind him going 'D'yer want a WEE then?'
Same will undoubtedly go for this boy...

FairLadyRantALot · 04/02/2009 11:22

lol...yeah, must sa, I do feel sorry for the boy in the add...this must be so embaressing for him...

oddly enough the add came on earlier on Nick toonster...so, Kids are seeing it, too...wonder if the lad gets bullied...

guad....well, you see poos are a major event in this house and ys and ms always want to see eachothers poos before they get flushed awway ...but I think this is more due to ms constipation problems and because of that him doing poos is a major event and woop and joy ...(gosh, we sound like right weirdos, lol)

OH, every time I see this ad I feel like screaming at the TV! It's jsut so awful!

It's had the opposite effect on me, I would now never buy the stuff. Instead I now make sure my bathroom is as rank as possible just so other kids don't decide to come round and sh*t in it!
