To have 2 Dcs be fairly slim with largish norks which happen to be natural and to be slightly miffed at the number of grown women often with their partners commenting on my 'fake tits' or 'boob job' and looking down their noses at me?

It's just happened again at the supermarket and I'd say it does about 50% of the time, particularly when dcs are with me which is just great obviously.

I've got nothing against boob joobs but why do people have to assume they are fake & sneer?

As far as my shape goes, I've probably got a good two stone on Posh (just under 9st) but my waist is quite small in comparison to said boobs, but then I've got widish hips too so I look in proportion I think.

Should I get t-shirts printed saying '100% real' or wip my bra off in front of said women and let gravity prove the point for me?

I probably am b u because I shouldn't care what comments complete strangers make, just needed to vent really!

JulieFrog, are you cod? or cod impersonator?

blueshoes · 14/01/2009 23:20

Damn, missed the picture!

sasamaxx · 15/01/2009 12:26

Mee too - put it on again!

purpleduck · 15/01/2009 12:43

maybe missing the point, but does anyone else think "boob joobs" is funny (in OP)

sounds like some kind of sweetie, like ju jubes

sasamaxx · 15/01/2009 17:33

It is funny - and I didn't notice until now lol

pamelat · 16/01/2009 14:43

I haven't seen a picture>

InSearchOfLostKeys · 16/01/2009 19:12

Right, I've deleted the half-naked pic as it was just too and I've put one at the top of profile wearing quite a fitted summer dress, will that do?

Got quite carried away actually, with putting up pics,it's quite fun. Don't know why I didn't do it ages ago.

I think you look great and those commenting are jealous tbh...

InSearchOfLostKeys · 16/01/2009 23:42

Thanks Electra, Like you I was huge towards the end when pg with ds, and got sick of the 'God you're enormous' comments, like I didn't know!

I know the OP could be read as showing off but I believe her. I used to get sick of comments about my breasts. Men would stare, or talk to the chest. White van drivers used to slow down just to yell 'you don't get many of those to the pound' and other charming remarks. Never overheard a woman being mean about me though. Maybe having curly hair helps? (I think curls signify 'non-threatening' especially as they have been out of fashion for so long.)

Time is a great healer - now I'm older and much fatter I don't have half as much hassle... (still get the odd remark, though).

BettyTurnip · 17/01/2009 00:06

Nothing to say about the boob situation apart from ignore it, but have to say you looked lovely on your wedding day, gorgeous dress.

InSearchOfLostKeys · 17/01/2009 10:13

Thanks Edam & Betty. The support from the wedding dress was amazing, pity you can't wear corseted clothes more often, although getting dressed might be a pita

OP posts:
edam · 17/01/2009 11:24

Ooh yes, dresses with built in support are fab. Bet that's what all those Hollywood actresses have (the ones who aren't flat chested - think a lot of them spend their life on very restrictive diets to stay permanently underweight).

I think I had an actual corset I wore on my wedding day, though.

edam · 17/01/2009 11:25

Think Bravissimo do clothes now, btw - worth a look?

InSearchOfLostKeys · 17/01/2009 12:08

didn't know that Edam, thanks will have a look

alicecrail · 17/01/2009 12:20

I'm sure they are just jealous (i know i am ) Even if they weren't real they would be jealous that they couldn't afford work done! you can't please some people

pgwithnumber3 · 17/01/2009 12:25

Im just v jealous because pre DD1 I had a size 8 figure with 32D bust. After DD1 I had a size 8 figure but no tits left.

Rise above it I say.

edam · 17/01/2009 15:51

My generous bust is my excuse for being fat! Seriously, when I've been really slim, I look ridiculous (to me, not having a go at anyone else). Like Barbara Windsor in a Carry On x100.

Fleurlechaunte · 17/01/2009 16:04

It wouldn't even occur to me to notice or make such a comment.

I think you sound as though you like yourself rather a lot. Nothing wrong with good self body image though I suppose.

bigTillyMint · 17/01/2009 18:24

I sometimes get those looks about my hair which is naturally very blonde. Particularly when it was also very long.
