We often see a teenage boy walking a tiny fancy looking dog that has a pink collar and matching sparkly lead. He looks so miserable and embarrassed trailing around with it. I assume (possibly unfairly) that his mum makes him take it out for walks

My brother owns a very small Maltese terrier. I spotted him walking said dog on a very hot summer's day. He was wearing a vest top and looking, it has to be said, quite buff altbeit in a slightly homo-erotic way. I mentioned this to him the next time we met. His response?

"Yes, it's great isn't it? All the girls I pass think I'm gay, stop to coo over the dog and bend right over. I can see straight down their tops."

Lord, can't believe my brother's sneaky peaks have killed a thread.

Theres a man on the estate where I live who walks a jack russell. Every time he is out we see him on his mobile phone.

We (i.e. some of my other female neighbours, my dh and myself all think he is having an affair).

The man on the phone that is, not the dog !

A few years back at a dog show (we used to show our dogs) and I wondered off and saw the Toy dogs being judged, well I'd never seen so many ugly dogs in my life and judged them in order of ugliness and sure enough the top five came in the order I predicted bar the third and fourth place who were the other way around. My wife said it was the only time I had been excited at a dog show. (wish I'd been able to put a bet on at the time!)
Anyway I'm of the school of MamaG that a dog is a dog and should be a dog!
That said I love Burmese and Siamese cats as they are not cats really but dogs in the wrong body...
