I received an email from facebook earlier giving me a warning for a picture I had in one of my albums. Apperntley it was too obscene and if I posted it again I would be banned.

Iam fuming at this and really want to complain about their negativity.

The picture is the first one on my profile. Is it obscene, because I really dont think it is.

I'm shocked at their attitude!

Your ds seems to have a permanent smile on his face He's gorgeous.

superfrenchie1 · 21/12/2008 22:06

i'm already a member of that group too. i deliberately posted a picture of me bfing dd and no-one's complained (no nipples on sight though).

HOWEVER, i have to say i have similar photos of myself and i would no way put them on there - not even if it was restricted so only friends could see it

it's great to be proud of breastfeeding but why not post a more demure picture like the one of you (in the hospital?) with your two dcs - and another one of your ds's gorgeous smile, if you're anything like me you'll have millions of pictures of him so maybe you do need to edit and pick the more appropriate ones.

i can sort of understand the reasons why facebook would have a blanket 'no nipples' policy and it's probably not a bad thing in some ways

OMG no way. One of my friends on facebook is a glamour model and she has loads (and i mean loads) of pics of her with her tits out nipples on full show, arse on full show full frontal everything. I can't believe they want to take down a pic of you BF and are saying it's obscene.

poetmum · 22/12/2008 00:25

YANBU!! I think writing them a letter would be in order. You might even want to follow up with sending a message to friends inviting them to write a letter.

nappyaddict · 23/12/2008 02:43

I don't know why they have to ban nipples. You can walk around on the beach with your nipples out and blokes can walk around virtually anywhere with theirs out. I could understand if you'd posted a pic of your fanjo but a nipple sheeeeeeeeesh.

Knickers, the Facebook picture is fine BUT that pic of you and Tyrone is obscene - it violates something, not quite sure what though. Take it down - take it down!

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 23/12/2008 10:34

lolol @ Tyrone

my dd has a pic with Tyrone, he is lovely !
