My friend is 20 weeks pregnant with her 3rd child. She appears to spend a lot of time lying about or sleeping. AIBU to think this is lazy?

Fair to who??

Are you trolling? Or just daft?

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:19

I don't find the tax structure in the UK fair, either.

Do you?

I think Gordon Brown is lazy, even though he's not pregnant.

IAmNotHere · 01/11/2008 15:21

lol at Gordon Brown

dbld - your friend sounds like a total bitch. You should call the NSPCC at once.

KatieDD · 01/11/2008 15:23

Well weren't you stupid "getting on with it" I was relaxed and treasured whilst pregnant, made me a better mother of a calmer newborn don't ya know.

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:24

Cats are lazy, too. Even male ones.

Have you ever noticed how much they sleep?

Our cat sleeps most of the day even though she's dressed.

Sometimes it really winds me up and I pick her up and put her outside so she has to fend for herself.

Being a cat isn't an illness!

mosschops30 · 01/11/2008 15:25

I think youre a bit of a twat, glad ur not my friend!

ShowOfHands · 01/11/2008 15:27

Maybe she's tired.

Maybe it's none of your business.

Can't be naffed to argue this low down the food chain today.

LittleWhizzingBella · 01/11/2008 15:27

I think you can be lazy when you're not pregnant tbh.

Laziness is underrated.

MrsMattie · 01/11/2008 15:28

bella, that's one of my fav posters.

What's the troll alert word this weekend?

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:31

Snails are lazy, too.

This summer, there was one on our bin as I took it down to the kerb to be emptied.

I told it to get a move on.

It was barely budging.

Then, after I went inside, I saw a seagull pick it up and fly off with it.

I still sometimes feel like a murderer because of that.

onepieceoflollipop · 01/11/2008 15:31

Goatburger was the word before I went on hols. Not sure if anyone changed it since then?

Any suggestions?

ShowOfHands · 01/11/2008 15:34

My 83yr old arthritic grandma is lazy. I'm going to beat her with a switch tomorrow until she jolly well runs round her warden controlled accommodation.

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:34

Some men are also lazy.

WTF is their excuse?

My late father had done fuck all lately - lazy sod.

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:37

the dead are so lazy!

they take up room, too.

why can't they just get on with it and take their bodies elsewhere?

nickytwooootimes · 01/11/2008 15:38

I know.
The bastards.

He was supposed to be doing up my house too. Any flippin' excuse.

NorthernLurker · 01/11/2008 15:38

You should be more supportive of your friend. She'll need you to pick up her slack when she's 40 weeks pregnant and has to spend all the time resting and sleeping. Come on woman - pull yourself together or you'll never be able to post and moan about her!

IAmNotHere · 01/11/2008 15:39

Joke for expat.

Snail goes into a bar on New Year's Eve.

"Pint of lager please, barkeep."
"We don't serve snails, bog off."

"Here's my dough, pint of lager please."
"Look, for the last time, I'm not serving you, sling yer shell."
"I WANT A PINT OF LAGER. NOW!"
"RIGHT!" says the barman, and picks up the snail, opens the window and hurls him as far as he can into the night.

A year later.

Snail goes into a bar.

"Alright, please can I have a pint of lager?"

PS No snails were hurt in the typing of this pisspoor joke.

expatinscotland · 01/11/2008 15:39

i'd like a ghost that does housework, nicky.

i've heard of some who do.

or one that pays towards the rent.

that'd be nice.

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 01/11/2008 15:40

Have you ever noticed how lazy capured animals are? I mean the ones at the zoo are bad enough (lying about, having their meals delivered) but the ones at the natural history museum ... seriously, they do sweet f-all!

unknownrebelbang · 01/11/2008 15:40

dbld.

Yes I'm easy to wind up today.

So shoot me.
